Fennec Foxes - update for the 2009/2010 Shima Fennecs

May I ask though why the blue one is different from the original?
By that, I mean it's missing the "Happy Birthday Shima" thing and the background mark
The fox was released as a staff birthday pet, so I'm just curious as to why that part was changed :3
It just.. doesn't seem right without it

Yay! Another common and non special fox! At least they could have had new line art. These foxes were probably the most beautiful pet around and now it is just another common, blue, 2014 fox. What's up with the birthday background too? It was so beautiful. I guess I have four less dreamies to keep track of now.

Sorry if I sound harsh/mean/cruel but I don't think these are just as special now and I think some of the other players would aggree too. The artist did a good job moving the art and we don't want CS shut down because of copywrite issues. It had to be done I guess. :(

Yes, the old lineart was beautiful, but the change had to be done. The lineart was copyrighted and we didn't want CS in trouble!

Can you at least make another lineart for them? I almost got scammed by trading a 2009 rare for a blue fox that turned out to be same color but different rarity and demand.

almost all the equimagine horses were put on the current lines because for one, they were traced, and secondly, to have less linearts. the rainbow mane litter only got their own lines because it was generally agreed that they were just special. in all honesty, if you look at the differences in the fennec lines, you'll find they're in very similar poses. besides, with the rainbow mane litter, it was just that... a litter. a whole set of adopts done by an artist don't need their own lines. that defeats the previous purpose to have less linearts.

as for the birthday fox, i honestly think that it looks better without the pre-made background, and it really didn't need the "happy birthday shima luan" either. the previous lines were traced. it's my personal belief that tracers should not be rewarded by having their happy birthday thing on the remake. it may look similar to other fennecs now, but we've already got pets that are similar to one another on cs. shrugs.

also, it's very difficult to completely recreate a design. just sayin'.

Here is what I have to say:
Well actually you're saying, 'well done artists who did the new lineart and coloured it in!' and 'boo Shima for tracing!!!', thats not very fair because shima was the one who came up with the patterns and did most of the designing here. You're also say 'well if they traced it they shouldn't get their happy birthday text because they did something wrong' this isn't nice you're actually bullying, I don't think shima traced the lines just so CS could get in trouble and if it wasn't for shima's B Day this fox wouldn't even be here.

When you said ' lots of CS pets look alike' these foxes were special and stood out for their lineart and special colouring. What if someone with their dreamie (the B day shima fox) extremely overpayed for the fox and didn't even realize it was a common from 2014, that fox had significant uniqueness with it's lineart now it will probably maistaken for a 2014 common lot's of times and with your. shrugs. What was that for? It just means you don't care I feel that you have really pushed past the barriers of CS's rules with not being mean/bullying I'm not trying to give hate just trying to help you learn for the future.

Is there a special event the fox can be converted to? Just slap a balloon or two balloons for no reason. It just write " Shima Birthday fox"

Hey guys, if I go out and photo graph my own fixes and trace them, how many rare pets you will give me?
My hard drive has a lot of cats and I have no access to foxes. They are no cs adoptiables, but seeing how it is like a lot of people like admitting they like traced art.

Why? Y think they traced those too?

If she is still off site tracing fir commissions, you can always find her and get a one of a kind fox traced for you.

The new fennec foxes look great! I really like these lines as well, and I don't mind the fact that they had to change ;v;
