"Ok..." Applefoot said, sitting down a bit away. "Why were you here in the first place?"

"But I have no kin I recognize more than Cheetahblaze."

Cheetahblaze scooted closer to him. "My mate died here.", he said dully.

Dusty whipped around to meet his unknown kin, surprise in his eyes. "I'm-I...uh..."


Littlefoot meowed, "Alright then. Let's see it to Brightstar."She picked up the squirming kit and padded back to camp.

"I'm sorry..." Applefoot looked at his paws.
