The shadow beast death and shadow was attacking collapesed and layed there almost dead "One down seven to go!" Shadow said she attacked another one and so did Death

Mordecai let go of the beast throat and blinded it by scratching it's eyes and eventually killed it.

The next one to fall was the one Avean was fighting. She jumped right on top of another one.

"Four left!" Death said after killing another one. He headed torwards the beast Avean was attacking and helped her.

That one soon fell, "I didn't need your help," Avean said to Death, "but thank you." She turned away from him, and went to the third shadow Beast.

Shadow deafeeted her shadow beast and then sat waiting for Avean to finish hers.

Shadow dogded the attacks the beasts were throwing at her. "Hurry! Kill one more!" she said
