Shakes his head, half confused now. "Rumor had it you fancied Firestar, so who am I to tell you can't live your own life. I can't go around assuming every she-cat I meet is just dying to fall in love, have kits and grow old with someone." He meows, finding nearly impossible this once more charming she-cat was bitter over unintentional damage. "I'm going to tell you I'd be hurt just because you like someone else, then you'd just feel guilty."

Snorts, finding this setting too dramatic for his liking. They were likely causing some kind of scene without noticing. "If you want to act like the world is ending over a misunderstanding then it's not fit to be called love. If you actually love someone then..." He pauses, analyzing where he was going. "Then you wouldn't quit, fights happen but you never give in because it's just that special. If getting hurt once in a while makes you act like this then it isn't love."

The idea of letting someone go was horrid to him at times, he could barely consider it liable to give someone or something up for the sake of testing it's strength.
