Fennec Foxes - update for the 2009/2010 Shima Fennecs

I'm so happy with this update! Even though the old art was more detailed, now I can put last month's Halloween jackets on my old foxes

I really miss old lines... they was so special and big... now they look little more "common" but I understand it and I don't have any problem with change

I have a question, the foxed that had special text (such as happy birthday {insert CS member} ) will the text be found again on the library's once you all have time or will they remain blank? Sorry if this has already been asked or answered I just loved seeing that on the pet

I love the old linearts but they look great now and I'm glad they are no longer breaking copyrights ^-^

I totally understand why they changed the lines, it's definitely the best thing to do but omg, that sucks, these lines were the most gorgeous of all the CS pets, I' gonna die...

To be honest, I hate the blue fox coloring now, I'm sorry to the artist who colored it, but sorry, I just really hate it. I don't wanna be like hating you, I think it is not what it was before...

I had one dress up to one of these foxes and it was perfectly perfect and it just changed so half of the background doesn't even appear so it just screwed it up, gonna have to make another one...

And to be honest,I really liked the "hair" part on the old lines. It's sad it's partially gone now (Specially on the second fox I show up here),but I understand why the lines had to change. c:

I don't want to sound mean, but... I kind of hate this change. I was so exited a long time ago when I got this fox:

Now, what is there to distinguish that from this:


Pet's name: Woop

I feel like these foxes have to still be special. I understand the copyright issues, but couldn't you have kept these special? The newer foxes seem to be becoming just another type of pet, and these need to be different. I don't think it would have been impossible to make a separate lineart just for these.

Also, I agree with all the complaints about the birthday fox's background. There's just no reason to remove it, and it wouldn't mess with items except backgrounds, and then maybe there could be an option to turn off the background that comes from the pet? (I don't know, just an idea. This might be impossible to program.)

I imagine that in the future, new members will see these in the archives, and assume something like this happened: Shima.Luan created four foxes. They were cool and everyone loved them so in 2014 the artists made more. In a way, changing them like this gratifies Shima.Luan, which I'm pretty sure is something you don't want to happen.
