Two can play that! Highstep walked up to Jackson and " tagged " her, then went back to his original spot, right out of reach. He trotted in place, teasing her. Come and get me!

Clover continued to graze, but noticed Dakota's unease. Perhaps this mare wanted a straight on approach. She raised her head. And nickered an greeting.

Anaconda pinned his ears at the older stallion. He put his concentration back at Galaxy. She seemed to be accepting a covering. The young colt snorted. (fade ta black) He snorted and groomed Galaxy's rump a little before pinning his ears again at Firefly.

Cobalt grazed, just ready to defend his mares.

Cocoa continued to groom Dream, content.

Dahlia reacted violently, kicking out with her hooves and galloping a short distance away and facing the stallion, eyes bugging out and ears back. Her nostrils flared angrily and she backed up a little, ready to flee again.

Indian continued grazing, ignoring Shadow all together. If he had to fight to keep his mare, he would be able to without a problem.

Gypsy snorted and squealed, kicking out at Desi softly, not going towards or directed towards the mare, but was meant for her. She snorted and trotted farther away, snorting. She was old enough to go out on her own! She snorted and started trotting away with dignity and pride, an obvious spark to this young flaxen chestnut filly.

Indian called out to Gypsy, flicking his ears forward as he waited for a response.

A squeal called back, refusing the offer to come back, and it was fairly clear.

Indian snorted and just shook out his mane, walking towards Desi, clearly telling Shadow to leave. He stood between her and Shadow, snorting and pawing at the grass.

Dahlia started to graze again, flicking her tail. She lifted her head, starting to wander off to check something out that had caught her eye.

Cobalt watched Dahlia and nickered softly, walking forward after her a few steps.

Dahlia walked back to the herd, a tight knit herd was the best herd to be in she figured. She started grazing again, facing away from the other two.

Cobalt watched her a second more, then looked around for anything suspicious.

Firefly lowered his head, ears flattened and started trotting at Andaconda. He shifted to a canter after the first few steps. He wanted his herd to expand and this mare seemed like one he would want in his herd, though he wasn't picky. He thought this one was a nice mare, she looked like one.

Anaconda pinned his ears at Firefly, hesitating to leave Galaxy. He snorted and pinned his ear at Firefly again, squealing lightly at the much older stallion. He snorted and pawed the ground, attempting to warn Firefly off. He reared at Firefly, flicking his ears nervously. He snorted and flicked his tail.

Firefly kept charging at Anaconda, skidding to a stop right in front of him. Before the younger colt could think, he reared. His hooves scraped against Anaconda's neck, and he let out an aggressive squeal.
