{*sigh. i'm about to have a mental break down. ... i don't know how much of my brother's rebellious, crazy, and jerkish action and shenanigans. i just don't know what to do anymore. i've got school to worry about, getting my own stuff together and not relapsing back into my own depression, my dogs and agility and horses and eventing, and now i have to play babysitter because it is not fair to my parents to ask them to stay home from work so my brother doesn't run off into the woods again with a... never mind, um, listen, i'm in way of my head and my younger brother obviously, in his famous words right now, "doesn't care".

um, wow, sorry about that rant... i apologize for not being on, but obviously i wasn't expecting this. mmm... my step grandfather was actually starting to get better with rehabilitation, but that seems to have gone to the dumps as well. nothing really seems to be going good. the only lesiure i get sadly is when i'm sleeping, but now i can't do that because i can't let my little brother out of my sight. i haven't slept in a few days actually... he going to his psychiatrist this sunday, so only then will i get a break from this craziness. i can only hope that he finally accepts help and quits throwing his dang pity party, ugh. wow, that's horrible to say, but he's being really unreasonable and a total jerk to me. i have ... just urhgljfoiwsgh... *sigh, i am so sorry. um i'll try to catch up some other time, please try to understand that my life has kind of hit another low point again and it's not going good. please don't kick me out, i hope to be back in a week or so. :| i'm so sorry about this ranty explanation.

Personality: Alder is an independent and intelligent brute. He acts as a leader, always willing to take another's place if they are deemed too weak by him. He is strong and determined, and never fails to keep a steady composure. Despite this, Alder has a temper. It's very hard to break said temper, but there are certain dogs who get on his nerves and push him to the limit.
Background: As a pup, Alder was weak. He will admit that this is the only time he had been weak, for he was vulnerable and without experience, so this is to be expected, of course. But he doesn't believe he was weak because of inexperience; he was unable to protect his family when they needed him most. The memory is blurry, but Alder had been thrown into a situation in which he lost his composure. He was found soon after his family was taken from him and was trained as a police dog; this way, he started a new life and could forget his past. Despite this, he has constant nightmares about his failures, though he tells not a soul this. After having completed his training as a police dog, Alder was sent on a mission to recover a missing person. Unfortunately, he could not complete his mission and was sent away. Later, he came across a pack--the forest pack--and he hopes to be accepted, despite his faults.
