Star's ears flicked back as the mare moved closer too him. He heard part of what she said, and replied, 'No, not normally... Normally I only hear when I start the conversation, but something is happening, the walls of thought are breaking down,'

((He is beginning to be able to hear others thoughts, and earlier Glaze heard part of a thought conversation))

Jamilah cocked her head to the side. "So you're telepathic too, then?" Instead of using words, she put the thought into his mind. She remembered when she first found out she was telepathic. Since she was an adult now, she was able to read others mind pretty easily now, since she had a lot of practice.

'No, I don't think so, this is different. I've always been able to put thoughts into others minds, but I couldn't tell what they were thinking, but we could have a conversation.' Star thought, a worried frown in his face. He could tell that something was wrong, but even he couldn't tell what it was.

"Hmmm." Jamilah's expression became puzzled. "That's odd. I'm not sure what type of power that is, or if it's a power that's beginning to develope."

"Well, if it helps any, both my parents had mind manipulation powers, so that's probably what I have, but something is wrong about it...' Star thought, his eyes blindly looking around the area they were in, as though searching for someone - or something.

"I don't think anything's wrong." Jamilah said, hoping to reassure him. Though she couldn't help noticing him look around the area. Something seemed a little off about him, but Jamilah couldn't place it.

Star sighed, 'No, something is wrong. I'm not supposed to hear thought conversations, but I can, and it's only really recent. I know all things, yet there are things I do not know, and I can feel that there is something wrong around us, but even if there was, I couldn't see it because... Star broke off sadly, unwilling to tell her. He knew if she wanted to she could read his mind, find out why, and his powers didn't let him stop her.

Jamilah knew he couldn't finish the sentence, though she wanted to know what he was going to say. She could obviously read his mind and find out. It wouldn't be right, but would she care? No, because it was her personality. She normally didn't care about others. Yet, a small voice told her not to read his mind, and seeing him upset, Jamilah didn't really want to. She studied his face, thinking. He couldn't see it? When it hit her. "Are you.....are you blind?" She asked.

Star nodded, not saying anything. He was grateful she hadn't read his mind, but in a way he would have liked it if she had, that way he wouldn't have to admit it. He looked at her, or where he thought she was, then thought to her, 'Yes, I'm blind, and I hate it. I'd love to run free through the grass, be able to see where I was going, not be pitied by people...' he snorted angrily, then continued, 'I was born blind, so never once have I seen the blue sky, seen the grass waving on the hills.' He figured she would wonder how she knew, but he would tell her later.

Jamilah did wonder how he knew what the colors were, but she didn't ask. She said nothing for a moment, just stared at the ground. Finally, she decided to ask. "Would you like me to keep that a secret?"
