Hey guys, I'm really looking into getting a Scottish Fold!
We just lost two of our animals one month apart, due to cancer and kidney failure. They weren't even the oldest, so I'd love a generally healthy cat that isn't prone to serious health problems.
Now I'm all for folded ears, but according to Cats 101, the folding of their ears is due to a cartilage defect. It can cause some joint problems. I can't seem to find an answer to whether the Scottish Folds without folded ears have these problems, or if triple fold cats are more at risk.
I'm not sure if any of you know the answer, but anyway, does anyone here have a Scottish Fold? :3

so my kitty winnie lately has been attacking hands playfully. she doesn't necessarily mean harm, but i don't think it's good for her to think that behavior is alright. does anyone have any advice on how to stop it?
my cat used to do that. I fixed it by bopping his nose gently, and saying no. once she bites, stop playing with her immediately to teach her the behavior isn't acceptable.
I blow on my cat's face and it stops him pretty fast.

Indeed, one of these day I will get a ragdoll, then after that all black cats for me! I love ragdolls and black cats so pretty ( I would love a long haired black cat omg I would die for a black long haired with blue eyes unrealistic but gosh!)

Like I said, a Scottish Fold for me. :3
I was thinking of getting a Ragamuffin or a Ragdoll, but they're so big and heavy, and I'm weak. ono
Besides, I already have a 20 pound cat! Haha.
Tipsy, I agree. Black longhair cats are beautiful!
Ohh but a seal point Ragdoll with blue eyes would be beautiful, too. <3
