What is a Shokudai? wrote:Shokudai are blind and use all other senses to figure out their surroundings. Their hearing is above average because of their long thin ears. They live in Aokigahara, commonly known as Suicide Forest. They prefer quiet, spacious areas. Shokudai aren't typically vicious creatures. They are scavengers. They collect the belongings of the fallen victims, making a shrine and protecting the victims spirits.

Rules:
You must mark the main thread to adopt.
- Shokudai are a closed species. You may not make your own.
- Respect the staff and each other.
- Bribery of any kind is unacceptable.
- You may not resell or trade your adopt.
- Do not copy the design of the Shokudai onto another species.
- If you no longer want your Shokudai private message the artist and the archivist.
- You may not change the design in any way shape or form. This is an absolute no-no, you will be banned from the species and all your Shokudai will be revoked.
- Shokudai do not have super powers, no flying, lasers, controlling through mind, et cetera.
- You are allowed 5 Shokudai at this time. Staff may have 6 Shokudai.
- Do not ask to be any part of the staff. We will set out forms/competitions if needed.
Artist/Guest Artist Rules:
- Produce at least 1 Shokudai every week.
- Little to no gore.
- Artists are allowed to make 2 customs. Guest Artist are allowed 1 custom.
- Guest Artist will be swapped out every month.
Gifting Rules:
- Must contact the artist and archivist.
- Giving your Shokudai away will make them sad. :(
- You must have kept your Shokudai for at least 2 months.
- Gifting without permission will result in ban and we will re-home your Shokudai.
- After gifting your Shokudai, you may not get that Shokudai back. Gift wisely.
