From the bushes emerged.. A rabbit? Spiderwhisker let out a relieved sigh and placed his paw back on the ground. After a moment's realization, he dropped into the Hunter's crouch and slowly and carefully stalked after the rabbit. A clumsy step on a twig sent the rabbit running off. Disappointed, the tom let out a groan and lashed his tail.

Deerfeather woke to the sound of rustling from her clanmates. She sat up and began to wash her ears. Deerfeather padded out of the den; sun shining on her pelt. She circled the camp once then found a sunny spot to lie in. "Good morning," she called to whoever passed by her.

Spiderwhisker returned to camp a bit later, a squirrel clamped in his jaws. On his way back into camp, he noticed Deerfeather basking in the sun by herself. He made his way over to her with the squirrel. Dropping it, he meowed a greeting. "Uh, morning, Deerfeather." He said, twitching his whiskers awkwardly.
