Speckledkit nodded, laying down and putting her head on her paws. "I hope he's alright out there."

"It's quite alright," Foxcloud responded with a friendly smile. The freckle-like spots stood out against the rest of her pelt in the darker lighting.

"He will be," Mistyfur promised.

Clifftail tried his best to return a smile, but he ended up looking sort of foolish. He wasn't one to smile much so it was unknown territory to him. His eyes fixed on hers before quickly darting back to the opening to the warrior's den. He bit his cheek, should he? After all, she must still be recovering from her former mate, but why not? Whatever, hopefully it'll just be seen as manners. "Its chilly, are you taking shelter in your nest?" He asked.

"Yes," she said with a nod. "I'd like to snuggle sown in my moss for the night."

Speckledkit sighed softly and curled up in her nest, trying to stay as warm as she could, even with the chilly draft coming in.

Clifftail dipped his head, "She-cats first." He moved to make room for Foxcloud to enter the den.

"Thank you," she mewed, moving past. Happily, she curled into her nest and closed her eyes. StarClan, please let Rabbitfur be safe tonight...

Clifftail disappeared into the den after her, curling up to his nest. He shivered, but it wasn't because of the dropping temperature.

Within moments, the she-cat was deep in sleep.

"Me neither," Copperberry huffed. As soon as they reached the den, she made herself comfortable in her nest and began to groom her ruffled pelt.

Seabreeze blinked and stared after Clifftail, looking a little disappointed. "Oh. Okay." He padded off to the nursery, poked his head inside, and dropped the pigeon in front of Mistyfur and Speckledkit. "Do, uh, you two want this?" he asked, nudging it with a paw.
