It's turning into every time I ask even the simplest thing, I'm met with a wave of resistance.
I'm not doing any of this to hurt or suppress you, I'm just doing my job.
I love this species and by extension, all of you, which is why I go out of my way and spend so much time trying to be here for you guys. Okay, I get it, you don't like having a mod that enforces rules and does what they're supposed to do. Sorry, but I'm not going to stop doing what Horsy expects of me just to be liked or appreciated.
I can handle not being liked, I've dealt with it this long just fine...

Ok, after a back and forth I have to say one thing. And don't worry about a big discussion, it is just my statement about this. If you think it's too much off topic, please ban me. But if you give us such a statement please notice that there might be a feedback.

I don't think that there is a general resistance against you in your role as a mod. Most members will agree when I say we need a mod here.
But,
the point is that you often really sound a bit harsh or even lurking for mistakes with a big ban hammer in your hand. And that is the point of conversation when others start to feel bad just because of their opinion or a little mistake or even because they were misunderstood. Critique or being corrected is just easy as long as it's given with a small pinch of warmth.
I totally understand how hard it is to be a mod especially in such a big international community with dozens... no, hundreds of different opinions and rule breaks. It is a really hard job and we appreciate that there is somebody who does this job. Not necessary to mention how difficult it is to stay calm and friendly all the time. But please just keep in mind that others often just break rules accidentally or just misunderstand posts.
Just my two cents.
And this is for all artists:
We really love you and your designs. Please don't get us wrong if there is a guest artist leaving and we want to thank them for doing their job. Praising a leaving artist is generally meant as a nice farewell and no statement that your art is somehow loosing its awesomesauce. Even if some state they want a particular person as a guest artist, it's more an expression of feelings.
And last but not least, don't forget that there are often posts like "Holy crap this new design of >>enter artist name here<< is so stunning!". They just don't appear all in a row because there is no particular moment when you are leaving. Gladly there isn't such a moment! But the posts with compliments for your designs are still there. They are just a bit more scattered through the fan club.

Ok, enough of statement now. I regret nothing.
