║╚═══════════╝ Minasa worked hard, and soon she had worked up a nice sweat, the drops beading across her skin as her arm returned to normal. It had been hard these past few years, living with the sorrow and regret of ever letting her brother join them here was weighing down on her heavily. Sighing she ran her fingers through her hair, pulling the black strands back across her forehead and letting them dangle down her back.
All of them here had a fair share of loss and sadness, and she knew being second in command meant that they looked up to her for strength in some aspects. She needed to be strong, and brave, but she was running short on strength lately. Looking over at Hayato and the new trainee she smiled, the girl had skill that was for sure, and she bet as soon as she was ready she could be a real help to the team. Making her way towards a bench on the far of the room, She saw Coyote still practicing and smiled, it was a great trait, his determination to train and better himself. As she sat she watched his movements, the grace in which he fought was mesmerizing, mixed with his strange way of silence it was quite intriguing. "Jeez Coyote, don't make us look bad." she teased with a kind smile.
Back from Hiatus, starting fresh I guess.

Josephine
Josie smirked, she swung underneath the railing and landed with a small thud just a few feet from Hayato. "Oh you know me so well," Josie reached up and fixed her ponytail that had come loose when she landed. "Yes, it does have to do with my darling little explosives. I need more wax paper for the smoke bombs. I habe enough powder, should last me a few more weeks. But I was wondering if I could go into town and pick up some? There's a place that I know where I can get some quality stuff but at a lower price."

I am like a brilliant red rose. So beautiful to look at that you just want to have it, but you do not see the thorns I have. I have the beauty of lady but the attitude of a caged tiger!

Coyote faltered slightly in his final kata when he heard Minasa's voice. When had she gotten there? Had he been so wrapped up in his training that he failed to remain alert to his surroundings? That wouldn't do at all, that it would not. Had this been a real combat situation, his lack of attention to what happened around him could very well have gotten Coyote killed. Wiping what little sweat had made its way to his brow off with an arm, the e-soldier rested Draglancer on his shoulders, turning to look at Minasa with an expression that seemed to say 'Don't worry about me showing you guys up. I'm just trying to set a good example for the new girl'. Coyote always felt that he'd done quite well to hide his emotions, especially those pertaining to Minasa. Still, there was no doubt in his mind that the others had already guessed that he viewed them as siblings rather than comrades. He was the oldest by far, having seen more battle than the others. It came as no surprise that he might have a little more skill than anyone else in the group. Still, if the new girl was to learn anything, it should definitely be about the different kinds of Imperial Arms. After all, she hadn't seen his before. Not surprising, considering that since her arrival, Coyote had only ever gone on solo missions. He never saw the need to drag others along when he himself could handle the situation placed before him.

║╚═══════════╝ Minasa laughed softly at his expression, after this long she had learned to understand him quite well even with his lack of speech. "I'm pretty sure she's gonna be overwhelmed with all of our wonderful skills." she teased, as she watched him finish up. He was like the elder brother of the group, and she knew he hid the true feelings of friendship and care that he held for each on of them. Something in his past haunted him, she could see it on his face and hurt for his pain. They all hurt, but he just seemed to control it so well to her. She honestly envied him for it, the ability to suppress it so well.
She could never do that, no matter how much she tried, she still broke down from time to time. Luckily, she had time to run to her room when the episodes would surface. She could already feel it coming, the want to cry about it, and the second that salty liquid tried to escape her face she grimaced, rubbing it out as quickly as it fell. She played it off as a drop of sweat, returning to her regular attitude quickly as she blocked it out once more. Stretching her arms above her head she wondered when their next mission would be, she was getting stir crazy being stuck inside without a purpose lately and she knew the others probably felt the same way as well.
She watched as Josephine jumped down from the railing, curious as to what brought the small girl from her little laboratory of sorts. She must need something, but what that was Minasa couldn't hear from this far away. She stood slowly, stretching her legs as she did so before making her way towards the group, giving a look to Coyote inviting him to join the four if he wished.

(No worries on that. I'll have the mission info arrive in a bit. I was waiting for Finnel because they said they would be busy for a few days, but that was over a week ago. If we progress slowly but keep going, it should be alright.)
Hayato Mikoshiba - Male - Leader - 24 - Tagged;; Ayame, Josephine, Minasa, Coyote
Hayato stepped back a bit as Josie leapt down to join them, crossing his arms as he waited for her to speak. He had hit the nail on the head, and he chuckled slightly. Since she had just popped up out of nowhere, she had normally been the one to go to town. Minasa sometimes went, but none of the guys could. Their backgrounds lent their identity to be well-known by the nobles, and their faces were plastered around the town on wanted posters, their names emblazoned across the bottom. "If you're going for wax paper, would you mind picking up a few other essentials?" They had taken to keeping two lists in their kitchen pinned to a cork board- a 'want' and a 'need' list. The want list was things that they would get eventually but could be put off, like snacks, extra wood, or new silverware. The need list was things like meat and milk that they would always need on hand. Currently, there were only a few small things on it. "The list is in the kitchen. Don't take too long, and obviously don't get caught." Reaching out, he gave a quick, gentle tug to her ponytail.
Turning, he glanced back to see that Coyote had finished training and that Minasa was coming towards them. He nodded in greeting to his second in command before stepping away. "I'm going to help Ayame train now." Pulling out one of his own swords once more, he walked back towards Ayame. The blade fit snugly in his hand- the handle had worn down to fit his grip. "Alright. To start, we are going to do some basics things. Just follow me, and do as I do." Stepping one foot forward, he swung his blade quickly through the air. Taking another step, he swung it up, as if to parry a blow. He swung his foot to swing himself a full circle, slicing horizontally. Then, he took another few steps, swinging different directions each time. He knew it was quite a lot, but he always pushed hard.

Josephine
Josie blushed a little when Hayato tugged on her ponytail. He had always been like an older sibling, all of the Night Raid had been, so these little things always made her happy. "Uh right!" Josie turned and hurried up the stairs. She then turned and leaned over the balcony. "Good luck Minasa! I know Hayato can be a tough mentor but he'll soften up to ya in no time." With that she tured and left.
Josie hurried into the kitchen and grabbed the 'need list off the counter and some money out of the Night Raids savings. She was just about to leave when she stopped and rushed back upstairs.
She ran to her room and reached under her bed and pulled out the small pouch. It only held a few coins but even that could by some sweets in town. Her stomach growled at the thought of sugar cookies.
Josie rushed back downstairs and opened the door. "I'm leaving!" With that, she left.

Coyote was content to watch the interaction between the others from afar, remaining silent as he did so. He wanted to watch Ayame grow as a person, grow and become even stronger. Someday, if she trained rigorously, the newer member of Night Raid might just become stronger than Coyote was. Then again, Coyote still had the capacity to improve as well. He'd just have to believe in Ayame's will to become stronger.
Of course, Coyote found it strange that the others seemed to look up to him. He was no stronger a person than they were, no less capable of moving past the pain he felt. He might hide it well beneath his unflinching mask, but the silence that hovered around him, the lack of words that came from his mouth, was more than enough proof that Coyote was unable to do that. Everyone had their own way of coping with the fact they had survived while someone they had cared deeply for had not. Silence was his way. Hayato visited the graves of his old comrades every morning, this Coyote knew. Minasa.....she was still so emotional at times. The mere thought of what had happened could make her feel the pain anew. Perhaps that was the reason he cared for her so. Coyote wanted to shelter Minasa from her pain, but his own kept him from doing so. That was why he was content to watch over the others. Coyote distanced himself to ensure they knew nothing of the pain he hid, to ensure they could not see past his mask. Perhaps someday, such a thing would become unnecessary. Perhaps someday, he could tell Minasa the truth of his feelings, stop pretending that he cared for her as a sibling.
