TornStar shifted in her nest, opening her eyes slowly as she heard her apprentices voice. The leader sighed and yawned; she hadn't slept that much, she had slept very well very since the recent death of her sister, EmberClaw. Her black tiped ears turned, then flattened as she let out another yawn, then sat up. "I'm here." She responded to her apprentice, though her back was turned to FlintPaw and she was staring at the wall of her den.
DreamRuner sighed deeply as he sat outside the warrior den, a fat, half eaten mouse at his paws. The bold shoulder warrior swept his eyes across the camp, giving another, bored sigh.
SmallPaw's eyes slowly opened, then closed, then opened again in slow, tired blinks. She gave a rather loud yawn and raised her head, looking around the medicine den. Seeing her mentor, Ottertail wasn't there, she sighed and sat up in her nest. Then began to pick moss balls out of her fluffy, black and white fur.
RaggedPaw was still fast asleep in his warm nest inside the apprentice den, snoring loudly. His small, tabby body turned and rolled around in his sleep, his tail curling and uncurling around his sprawled out legs as he slept soundly.
