Ripplestripe halted at the sound of a rustling bush. At once, he dropped into a hunter's crouch and slowly crept towards it, until he was close enough to pounce. The tabby tom used his powerful hind legs to spring forward and scare a small mouse out of the bush, but before it could get very far, he pinned it by the tail and killed it with a bite to the neck.

Seabreeze parted his jaws to scent the air, only to receive a gust of cold wind in his mouth. He coughed once or twice before shaking out his fur. "Brrr! It's cold out. Aren't you cold, Clifftail?"

(Beechpaw is open. And I guess Copperberry is too, since Arrowpaw's user isn't very active.)

Clifftail grumbled under his breath, "I'm always cold, especially you should know that, Seabreeze."

Mapleshadow nodded approvingly at Ripplestripe. "Good catch." She said, opening her mouth wider, trying to scent another piece of prey. But the wind had begun to blow fiercely, making the scents of the forest seem to constantly shift and blur together.

Blitzpaw sat up, alert, and trying to figure out what was scaring her mentor. She nodded and briefly touched Gingerpaw's muzzle with her own. "Come on, something's wrong." She mewed quietly and raced towards camp as fast as she could with Gingerpaw's breath on her tail.

Gingerpaw glanced in the direction Salmonfall was looking in. Seeing dark clouds with a black column going up it, he gently pushed into Blitzaws muzzle when hers brushed his. "Won't you be coming?" Gingerpaw called back to the warrior as he ran, his breath hot on Blitzpaw's tail.

As Blitzpaw emerges from the entrance to the camp, she calls, "Danger! There's storm clouds...and a swirling thing coming from the clouds." Mouse-brain! Everyone will probably think you're telling nursery tales again! Blitzpaw thought. But they have to believe me! It might kill us.

Gingerpaw almost fell over Blitzpaw as she stopped, "It's true!! A giant black cloud!!"

Speckledkit was in the camp with Foxtalon, playing with his tail. The usually grumpy tom had a small smile on his face as he let his daughter chase his tail.

Salmonfall followed, shooting both apprentices that told them to hush. She didn't want every cat to become panicked and frantic. "Where's Tidestar?" She asked Foxtalon.

Foxtalon looked up, stilling his tail. "I think she may be in her den. I can help you look. What's wrong?" The large ginger tom blinked, sitting up.
