Rules;
1; Keep genders even.
If you're playing two characters, they need to be or different genders.
2; Use different elements.
We don't want everyone being an earth bender, no fire benders, two water benders, and one air bender (exaggeration, but still different elements.) if you make a water bender and want to make another, use a different element.
3; Use good writing skills.
I don't care as much for appearance as I do for content. You can't have a pretty post with nothing on it. Now, I'm not saying that you need to be writing a novel for each post, and I understand writers block, but try to have at least three lines or sentences of descriptive text. Not "he/she followed after hoping not to get lost" or even "he/she wondered what the other was thinking about, wondering if it was them." I want something people can respond to easily.
4; Be active.
I do understand vacations, especially with the holidays coming up, but at least pm me and warn me. If you don't respond on here for three days, I'll give you a warning and you have 24 hours to respond. If not by then, you will be removed from the rp. If you have a valid reason afterwards, pm me and I'll add you back in, but your story line starts over.
5; use some kind of bracket when OOC.
It's hard looking through threads and seeing a bunch of text and not knowing which one is OOC or the actual response for the rp.
6; Do. Not. Start. Unless. Accepted.
I don't know how much I need to stress this, but please don't start posting until after I have checked your form and told you that you're accepted.
7; Don't go too far without me.
I've been off line more with the holiday season drawing nearer and nearer, so if I'm not on, then don't go more than two pages without me.
8; Swearing is not allowed!
This is a kids website, and we need to keep it clean. You can say 'crap' and 'damn' and 'hell,' but starred out words are allowed. You will be automatically kicked from the rp if you swear.
9; no fighting, double posting, or spamming,
I don't want to come back here and see everything being just fights and spam.
10; Please, pm me for reservations.
It is hard to keep track of who reserved a spot first if the reservations are all over the place. It is much easier to keep track of them all in one place. It also keeps the forum looking neater and more tidy.
11; Drama!
While this is a romance and Avatar rp, don't fall in love right away unless you already know the person, which you'd need to work out first. Don't kill anyone off without the characters owner knowing and agreeing to it first. Keep all gore events to a minimum in description, but you can say how (in a very general statement) it happened, and where the blood is. Plus, drama is always welcomed. An rp is no fun if everything is always dandelions and butterflies all of the time.
12; all site rules.
I need you to know the site rules so that I don't need to state them all, so if you haven't already, please go read them.
13; read the rules!
I know there are lots of rules, but it is so that this will run smoothly. So, if you really are reading these, I was appreciate if you posted something about potatoes in your form. It doesn't matter how, just as long as it is mentioned.
14; ages.
Please, keep your ages from 15-19, so that everyone is around the same age. Unless you ask me for special permission to be a war general or something, then those ages, please.
15; no god modding/ Gary or Mary sues.
No one is perfect! Everyone has flaws. Weather they show them to the world or not is their choice, but they do have flaws.
16; FTB
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fade to black when needed. Wether it is during an intimate scene or a bloody and gory fight, this is still a children's site.
17; characters
Please, only have a max of four characters. One of each element, two of each gender. I want to keep elements and genders as even as possible. And if you feel comfortable playing only one gender, work it out with someone else so you can play two of one gender and they can play two from the opposite gende.
18; no one is able to 'capture' the avatar.
if they are searching for them, they are not able to capture the avatar, until page 30 at bare minimum. This number may change, so re read this occasionally.
19; Keep your names on your posts.
Weather you write in third person or put your name at the top of it, put the characters name! It will be much easier so you can find the posts you need much quicker.
20; If they ask, try to help.
If someone asks for a repost or recap, please give it to them. The big things will be posts in the announcements, but at least try to help them out.
21; Follow
If you disobey any rule of my own or any of the sites rules, you will be kicked from the rp automatically. No ifs, ands, or buts.
