Dragonpaw watched intently, keen to show off the skills that she'd been taught.

"For the offensive, your paws will the out a little more. In the defensive crouch, it's in so you can quickly spring away if attacked. The back paws being a little further out will give more power in the jump. Your tail has to be ready to move so that you can balance if you lunge at another cat. A nice strategy to know would be to look at a different place then where you'd pounce, so they'd move to protect that part, but you'd be landing on something else."

Shadowpaw
Shadowpaw frowned, but determined to prove he was just as good as his sister he worked to perfect his crouches, correcting everything even slightly wrong with his stance, but then forgetting and having to fix something else.

Eagleheart
Eagleheart nodded. "The closest one to us is called Cavernclan. They used to live farther away but now we have to watch the borders a little more closely. You never really know with those cats." He meowed. "Near the place in the mountains where they used to live, I heard there was a group calling themselves a tribe, but that is at the very least two moons of travel from here."

Smiled encouragingly at Shadowpaw, trusting that he'd figure it out.

Inkpaw's ears twitched. "If those CavernClan cats ever cross the border, I'll shred them!" he meowed with determination and energy.

Dragonpaw did as she was told, moving her front paws and back paws. What Mistytail was showing her was a little different to what Monsterclaw had taught her. She kept her lashing slowly behind her to support her.

Mistytail
Noticed Dragonpaw's uncomfort(?). She wondered why, until remembering she trained with Monsterclaw, and Monstercclaw had a different fighting style then herself. (When Mistytail and Phoniexstar were talking, Inkit cmplained about it not being fair that Dragonkit was being trained.) She gave Dragonpaw a look like, 'You can do it your style.'

Ravenpaw thought a moment, then shook her head. "I don't know," she meowed, lowering her head. She felt bad, not knowing what it was.

"That's alright." Shiningpool soothed, brushing her tail along Ravenpaw's cheek. "I didn't expect you to, but you did ask for a challenge. This is called Parsley. We most commonly use it to cure bellyaches, but it can also reduce the amount of milk queens produce, even to the point of stopping it completely, which is occasionally necessary."

Shadowpaw
Shadowpaw remained silent, but failed to hide his frustration at how easy this seemed to be for Dragonpaw. He kept working anyway, not looking at his sister anymore.

Eagleheart
Eagleheart purred. "Exactly. Just make sure never to cross their border- otherwise you might get a shredding yourself!" He meowed jokingly.

Ravenpaw nodded eagerly and followed Shiningpool. The lithe shape of their bodies was identical, but was barely noticeable. She padded after the medicine cat, hoping to learn something new.

Flashkit wandered around. It wasn't fair! How come his littermates got to become apprentices but he didn't?!

(Swimmer, you could somehow respond to that I guess.)
