He shifted uncomfortably for a moment at the interrogative question but the simply thrust the bottle out from his chest and offered it to him so he could find out for himself why he was holding it. Another reason he liked keeping his hands warm was for piano, it was quite difficult to play with cold fingers and he never knew when he'd feel like sitting down and just messing around with the instrument. As he waited for him to take it he blinked several times repeatedly after noticing the snowflakes that settled on his eye lashes from the wind. Most landed on his hat brim but a few got under and almost made him sneeze, which made his eyes water and quickly dry from the wind. He wiped his eyes and sniffled, hoping it didn't look like he was crying.

He put the back of his hand on the bottle and nodded. "So it's for warming you up? That makes sense." Kaei stuffed his hand back into his pocket and sighed. Then, he noticed Moe wipe his eyes and sniffle. Oh no, hopefully he didn't make him cry. He wasn't sure how to fix things. Kaei hesitated and then hugged him, "I, uh, I'm not sure why you're crying but I hope I didn't make you cry. Please don't cry, oh gosh, oh gosh..!" This was probably stupid to do, but, he wasn't sure what else he could have done.

Suddenly he felt arms around him in a hug, and it wasn't Bo. He made a small choking like sound and jerked away, raising his hands protectively because he didn't know why the other boy would hug him, unable to piece together that it appeared he was crying. The salty tears were about to get real though as his anxiety level rose and he stepped back, letting out a yelp as he slipped on the icy sidewalk and fell back onto his rear. He sat there dumbfounded for a split second, then let out a gasp and curled up with his knees to his chest, all his body warmth stolen by the cold ground. He was shaking badly and clutched the water bottle to his chest as an object to keep him sane, in a way. He felt another attack taking over and his bottom lip and chin quivered as he really did start crying, sometimes just crying instead of bottling it up helped so he did that even if it made him look even more like a small, helpless kid.

Great going, you just made him feel worse. Well, you think. He did look pretty upset though and all you wanted to do was help him out. Then, you saw him slip when he stepped back. Great, you've blown it. You hugged him without consent and made him slip. You doubt that he'd ever forgive you, and it would be a miracle if he did. You noticed that he didn't try to get up, he just curled into what looked like a ball. A very scared ball. Then, he continued to cry. Now you've felt worse. You had no clue how to handle this because you've never been in this type of situation before. You sat down across from him and crossed your legs. You didn't want to leave, but you didn't want to say anything to make it worse. You just sat there, looking at the ground and letting Moe cry.

He took a couple minutes to just remember how to breath before slowly relaxing his tight grip on himself and taking deep breaths. He wiped his eyes with his sleeves and dropped his legs, glancing up at Kaei. He knew he would hate him now, or at least avoid him because he'd hurt his feelings for rejecting the hug. He hid behind his hands until he was fully calmed down from that freak out, thankfully it hadn't gotten as bad as an attack. He wanted to apologize, to explain what had really happened, but he didn't. Pulling his jacket tighter around himself he set his jaw and stared down at his shoes, blushing hard from the cold and frustration/embarrassment he was giving himself.

Kaei noticed he wasn't laying on the sidewalk crying any more. He felt a bit better that he wasn't crying, but still felt bad for making him cry in the first place. "I'm.. I'm sorry." Kaei's voice didn't get any louder than a whisper. "I shouldn't have done that.." He sighed heavily, still looking at the ground. Moe was probably furious with him and he didn't want to look up and see the possible anger on his face. He sat there, wondering if and when Moe was going to leave or yell at him.

He sniffed and was about to shake his head, to tell him it wasn't his fault, when realization hit him and his eyes widened. He got up on his knees and scooted towards the other male, pointing down at the building he was supposed to be going to, then making a shape like a watch on his wrist. He tapped his wrist a couple times questioningly, asking what time it was almost as if everything that had just happened was completely forgotten in his rush to get to the office on time. He blinked his bright emerald eyes at Kaei and allowed himself a smile, making the well known sign gesture for OK. Yeah it may seem bi-polar that he was suddenly okay, he wasn't really, but he was good at getting back on his feet metaphorically and physically.

He looked up at the building and down to his wrist. It was easy to see that he was wanting to know the time. Kaei pulled out his phone and looked at the time, "It's one thirty right now." His voice was still hushed, but he was able to make himself loud enough. "Why? Are you going somewhere important?" He didn't recognize the building as anything other than a random building, so Kaei had no idea why he seemed so hurried to get there. Well, at least he thought it was there. He couldn't be too sure.

He paled, one thirty?! He was a half hour late, great. He groaned lightly and tugged his hat farther down on his head for a moment. He looked back at the building, then at Kaei, he'd have to explain this wouldn't he...here went. "Meeting...service dog. Um...are you busy?" He asked quietly, chewing his lip and moving his hands in a restless manner. He didn't want to go alone, even if the guy was willing to simply stand outside the door he'd feel better, he just hoped he wasn't mad at him anymore, or enough so he wouldn't just walk away.

Skylar walked through the park with a smile. She wore dark blue skinny jeans, a long sleeve black shirt with a lion design on it that said 'Be Brave', a non puffy gray jacket with fur on the inside that kept her warm, and gray earmuffs. She had her hands in her pockets so you couldn't see her gray mittens with black stripes left to right. She watched as little kids made snowmen, snow angels, and had snowball fights. She laughed lightly when one of the kids got hit in the face and then got angry and chased the other kid with lots of snowballs. She nodded to others as she headed to the store to buy food for the week.
