So my mom brought home a dog (for herself) yesterday evening and. On one side I'm kinda excited because dog, but on the other this feels both weird and slightly uncomfortable because it's not just my parents and me in the house anymore (and having a bird in the house feels different than a dog it seems). The "cute-tsy" tone my parents take with her is also really strange (yet it isn't when others do it to their pets???). And the sound of her panting continuously for some period of time when I'm used to the house being mostly quiet is going to take some getting used to (was not expecting it to be so loud either). I can't say I really know how to deal with dogs either, aahhh,, It's also not helping that I haven't been feeling 100% since yesterday afternoon.

On the bright side we seem to be on good terms and she's not a loud dog. But this is going to be a long, weird adjustment period and escaping to the internet can only do so much when my parents talk to her or she makes small sounds that keep reminding me that there's something else in the house now and it's not a visitor.

Also why does my hand still faintly smell like chips from when Little Miss Chip-Breath licked me this morning; I've washed my hands at least three times since then. How did she even get chip breath, I'm pretty sure she didn't eat any??

On an unrelated note: I'm bored but all the things I could do don't really interest me for some reason. Good thing I'll be going to bed in less than two hours. I'm nearly as done with today as I was with yesterday.

I want to roleplay, but all my roleplays have been so dead today and tomorrow I have to do all my hw because it's due tomorrow night so I probably won't get to roleplay much tomorrow either. Just ugh
