He shook his head. "Im not about to let you go by yourself. But, we could stay here and have our own winter formal if you would like," he offered, unsure if she wanted to. "But, if you have your heart set on going, I dont mind coming with you." He chuckled to himself.

He smiled at her and asked softly, "I was going to head to the mall to find something for the dance... and I know this might seem sudden... but, would you like to go with me tonight? It will be a lot of fun." He blushed and rested his hand on the back of his neck and rubbed it lightly.
