Darkkit sensed Squirrelpaw nearby. "Ok. You two, go and try to get a little bit of answers from Squirrelpaw." She whispered.

"Alright," Lightkit nodded and slowly approached the ginger apprentice.

"Squirrelpaw, are you hiding something from the rest of the clan?" Radioactivekit asked with a stern tone.

Squirrelpaw glanced up and pulled a smile, "Hey kits! No. I'm not hiding anything." She said quickly.

Darkkit stared at the she-cat suspiciously, "Uh-huh. Why do you have pity towards squirrels?" She asked.

"Pity towards squirrels? Oh that, it's just," Squirrelpaw racked her brains for an excuse, "They're not the most filling prey, they're small and nimble, barely any meat on them."

Radioactivekit frowned uncertainly.

Lightkit narrowed his eyes; suspicious.

"So, I have a scent of the Clan AND squirrels. Want to tell me why?" She asked.

Greykit watched the conversations between the other kits and the apprentice, and rolled her eyes. "Why don't you just leave her alone?" She mewed, walking over.

Darkkit turned her blind eyes to Graykit then to the other kits. "She is right." She meowed.
