I think wolves are beautiful! The way they walk, interact, and the way they look is mesmerizing.
There seems to be an overlooked fact that gray wolves are of least concern in the endangered list!
In fact, though people like to say that wolves are endangered, the truth of the matter is that in some places there is an overpopulation of them.
I'm all for hunting wolves so long as it's legal and won't significantly harm the overall population.

Wolves are awesome. They are beautiful, amazing creatures. They are my favorite animal, and they have been for years. I started drawing them years ago, and love them so much that their the only reason i still draw. I love going to see them, and they are always my favorite thing at zoos. Their howl is beautiful. Especially a group howl. I love them, and the pups are always so cute! But overall, i just think that they should stop being hunted and especially poached so much. They should only be killed if it puts a family or something important in danger, and even then they could just be captured and moved to a new area.

What about overpopulation though? There's only so many living beings an ecosystem
can take until it collapses and everything else suffers as a result. We can't always capture
and move animals because it damages other ecosystems too. It's a nice thought though!

I like wolves and I certainly don't want them to be endangered. But I do get irritated by all the teenagers obsessing over wolves and thinking they are the most OMG AWEZUMM! animal ever. I don't see why wolves deserve protection and respect more than any other endangered animal.
New username to remind me of the wind through the trees and the way I want to be.

@mental racatMy thoughts exactly. Yes, wolves are stunning creatures, but they certainly don't
need more publicity than endangered species. People only seem to be
interested in fluffy and cute things. I mean, this is an endangered species:

That's a California condor. Ever heard of one? No? Exactly.

Yes, I don't understand why (gray) wolves are being portrayed as endangered!!
