Black Rose's horn glowed more, while the silver bracers around her hoof also gave off a weak glow. Black Rose was trying hard to break through the limiters that were locked around her hoofs. Closing her eyes even tighter, muttering a few words silently as she tried to concentrate. Letting out a gasp with pain as the magic she was trying to use repulsed. She was never so good at magic for an Alicorn, as she rarely used her magic for her assassination tasks. She more relayed on her skills and stealth more than magic usage. She looked back at the two ponies that were in the lake, her eyes, for the first time ever had worry in them. Although this worry wasn't for her own life, it was for the ones that she tried to help. What a strange thing for her to do! After spending years seen as a ruthless assassin, now she was trying to save a pair of ponies. The air would soon effect them as the flames were spreading to the bushes that were around the lake. Swearing under her breath, she closed her eyes once again, ignoring the pain the bracers were causing her. Her horn glowing once again in black magic. And, in a few seconds, there was a faint shield over the three ponies, it wasn't strong enough to keep anything out other than the gas.

Facade watched in awe as the shield went over their heads, secretly impressed by the unicorn's magic. He certainly felt safer, but not very strong, and he could feel his power draining from him. If he didn't get love to feed on soon, his cover would definitely be blown.

Happy noticed the mare seemed to be in pain at what she was doing. She thought of something and pulled out a sword that she hid in the natural twist in her tail. She gestured for the mare to look at her and pointed to the sheath of her katana and made a snapping motion and pointed to each of them and pointed to her mouth then up at the surface, then she pointed to the mare's horn and made a circular motion around the sheath questioningly.

Black Rose turned to face the pegasus, she was still. in pain. Only if she could stabilize the shield. She looked at the pegasus, who looked questioningly at her. Getting her confident look back on her face, she shook her head, telling the pegasus she was doing okay and didn't needed much help. Turning her gaze back to the shield focusing on it.

[Well not quite. Rose created a shield over them that does not let any poisonous gas in, but have enough air for them to breath inside for a while. It does not have much air, so they would have to avoid talking or anything to use the air faster. The shield looks much like a bubble, made out of water so it actually could be counted like that. So yeah, they can breath but not for too long.]

Black Rose tried to continue, ignoring all the pain the bracers were causing her. Shutting her teeth tightly, she continued to stabilize the shield. The flames were around already, the trees, bushes, everything around was on fire. Black Rose took a deep breath closing her eyes. The transperet shield glowed brighter, as it was getting slightly stronger. Rose fell on her knees with a gasp. Although the shield was still in place and her horn was still glowing. The shield was stable, but Rose was trying to stay conscious, so the shield wontt break. .
