"Your my cousin!", Stripedfang fell over in shock. "I don't date my kin!", he hissed chuckling. "Your cute but no. I just wanted to know what your thinking."

"I know I am." she struck a pose before laughing. "Nothing, really. Just about how I really would like to have a mate, someday. But I don't think I'm ready to settle down and hole up in the nursery yet." she sighed. "I wish it weren't so expected of every she-cat to have kits as soon as they gain a mate."

Stripedfang nodded. "I don't want kits, but I do want love."
