(Time skip/flashback/I have no idea what time it is now but Hunter and Emily are about to go to the dance!)
Hunter
I opened the door and stepped out if my truck. Looking straight ahead, I fixed my collar and walked up Emily's porch. I sighed and closed my eyes. Then I knocked on the door.

Emily hugged her brother and her daughter good bye. She opened the door to see hunter. She blushed and kissed his cheek.

I smiled and bit my lip as I hugged her back. Then I waved kindly to her brother. "Wow Emily. You look amazing" I said

Emily blushed more."thank you Hunter..you look great too. ." She said sweetly. She hugged him gently and kissed his cheek.

I blushed, remembering what she had said the other day. "Thank you ma'am!" Then I placed my hand around her waist and walked her to the truck. I opened the door as she got in then walked to the drivers side and started the engine

Emily smiled happily as she sat in his truck. She really liked him like a lot. He was the first guy since her awful ex.

Dance hasn't even started! It's the day of the dance though.

I can just use my old homecoming dress, or i could just go alone and get the things we need and i can text you pictures. But if you really want to we can." I said as I put things back in the first aid kit and walked to put it away.

I drove down the road carefully. I was so excited to be taking Emily to te dance as my date. In all honesty, I was very supprised I even had the courage to ask in the first place. Me just moving here and having my anxious past makes this a giant step out of my comfort zone. Yet, I'm not uncomfortable at all.
