"I guess..." Alex says,looking over at Scarlett for a brief second before looking back at the teacher. He really didn't want the teacher to see him talk in the middle of class while she was,he never really dealt with getting in trouble very well.

[waterparks.]

"I guess? Are you one of those teachers pets?" I muttered, rolling my baby blue eyes. I hated people who were afraid to get into trouble and always listened to the teacher. It was annoying and unrealistic to love your teachers. I just wanted to tell all of them you are in highschool now, honey. You are supposed to hate your teachers and get into trouble now and then.

"No... I'd rather not get in trouble on the first day for talking..." Alex sighs,running a hand through his light blonde hair,messing it up a little bit

[[ scarlett ]]

I looked over at the teacher who was now standing against the wall, looking over a paper. Who knows, maybe it was the attendance thing. "Well today is your lucky day because you can talk now," I teased. I kind of could tell he didn't like me already. Well too bad because I could have some fun annoying this one. "So, what's your name? I'm Scarlett and you may call me Scarlett." I laughed lightly.

"I don't really talk much anyway... I'm Alex." He says,looking at the teacher before glancing back at Scarlett. Why did she have to talk to him of all people?

I sighed at his uncomfortableness with me talking to him. "Hey, sorry Alex. I can leave if you want, just thought I'd try to get to know some people. I'm new here so I don't know anybody," I explain.

"It's okay... I'm new here too." Alex says,looking over at Scarlett with a hint of curiosity

"Okay! So are you going to talk or be quiet because quite frankly quiet people are boring," I state boldly. I hope he doesn't take that into offense but it's true. Quiet people annoy the crap out of me. I'm over here doing all the talking and you say a few words.

"I don't talk much so you might as well be bored with me." Alex says with a light shrug,hoping that she might leave him alone

I finally found a more secluded spot behind a boy and a girl who were talking (Alex and Scarlett). I was only a few rows back and I heard "...be bored with me." I sighed and tuned out of their conversation, trying not to eavesdrop on them.
