The young man woke up, his red hair frozen in the hair. Lucio shook his hand through his long hair, laying it down. He slid from his bed and walked outside, stretching his hands over his head. He checked the time and saw it was about time for the festival. He silently walked down the street, leaning against a tree and watching as everyone slowly came out to greet the first morning rays of sun.

With Zxyz in hand he twisted, using the swords weight to gain momentum. "Agh!" He grunted, smashing the now flaming blade into the trunk of a large oak tree. The blade quickly cooled as it hit it's target. Wrenching the sword out he looked up as few birds flew over head. "Today's the festival.." He muttered, sheathing his precious blade. The thought of his brother crossed his might but was quickly dismissed as he pulled a black hood over his crimson red hair. He stalked through the forest, inching towards the town.

Xyla wondered through the kingdom with her tail held high. It was that wonderful time of the year.the festival that honors the brave souls who defended the world so many years ago. It was such an honor just to show her face here. Infact, it was the young anthro's time to here. Due to her training sand studies, she never had time to do anything. " it's very lovely here..i wonder how the festival really is." She smiled and glances at the castle in the distance

He looked up, flicking his head to the side ever so slightly to get his bans out of his face. His amber eyes looked around the town square. More and more people had emerged. Standing up he walked to the castles courtyard. On his way there he stumbled into Xyla. "Ahh, pardon me miss," He apologized with a thick british accent, he turned to face her, giving a small bow with his apology

He rolled his shoulders as he crossed the town bridge, into the busy streets. he swam through the crowd and made it to a more clear area. Some merchants were yelling out deals, trying to get a last minute sale befor the festival

Xyla smiled faintly at the one who ran into her. A gentle smile came across her face." Its alright sir." She said." I should stop sky gazing and move out of people way." She kept her paws snugged warmly in her sleeves

"Ah, don't worry, I was rather distracted as well. But so are many others, the festival being today." He pointed out with a chuckle. He brushed his hair away from his eyes with his hand. (writers block xP)

Xyla nodded ." It's hard not to be distracted. I hear it's something to look foward to each year. " xyla said." I think it begins at sunset..which is about a hour away"

He grinned, "This will be my first one, moved to town a few weeks ago." Lucio stated, looking around as people rushed past them. "Heard they are quite magnificent the first time you attend them."
