"You are right."she agreed and stepped a few steps forwards,before stopping and waiting for Alex. She smiled and started to play with the dogs, while waiting.

"All right, but we'll need to stop by my house on the way to the mall. I need to change into some clean clothes." He smiled and kissed her on the cheek before looking at his phone. When he did so, he realized that it was actually Saturday and not Friday. "Shezza, look." He pointed out the date on his phone. "Looks like we don't need to ditch after all, it's Saturday." He laughed at his mistake.

He follows her out into the sidewalk. Remembering that the dance is today he decides to ask, "are you going tonight?"
