Bengalfrost sat towards the side of the ShadeClan camp. His amber eyes were narrowed and he pawed at the dirt beneath his paws, sinking his claws into the ground with every movement of his paw. His ears flicked with every sound of other cats and the forest outside. His golden leopard printed fur was ragged and messy with scars lining many parts of it. Bengalfrost looked over at the leader's den, wondering when Foxstar would awaken. Foxstar would have to choose a deputy pretty soon and Bengalfrost was hoping the new deputy would be him. He was definetly worthy of deputy in his own opinion. He had followed Foxstar's word without question for many years and he honestly felt that many of the other warriors had soft spot that Bengalfrost didn't have. The muscular tom looked away from the leader's den and scanned the camp, watching the other cats.

Rainpaw bounded out of the apprentice's den, her ears perked and her bright blue eyes shining. She was in a good mood this morning, which was normal for her, and she wanted to show everyone. There was a smile on the small she-cat's face as she looked around the camp for someone to talk too. Her eyes scanned the camp and stopped on fresh-kill pile. Rainpaw licked her chops as she suddenly realized how hungry she was and bounded up towards the fresh-kill pile. The she-cat knew she wasn't supposed to eat until the older warriors did, but she didn't care, she hadn't eaten for a couple of days and she couldn't wait any longer. She looked over the small stack of prey and finally set on a large frog, since that was basically all there was and turned to bound towards the apprentice den with her food

Blackpaw looked up from examining his glittering claws and gazed into the eyes of his same-gendered crush, Sparrowpaw. The black-striped brute smiled up at the fellow apprentice and gave his tail a friendly flick of approval. He nodded to Sparrowpaw as trying to show some sort of sign of wellness and average behavior/mood. Blackpaw jumped to his paws and stretched out, flicking his one ear and then standing up to his paws revealing more height than one would've expected from the young cat. His beam remained plastered to his face as he glanced over the camp and then turned to the entrance. Looking back to see if Sparrowpaw was still there, he motioned his tail towards the entrance questioningly as if saying, Do you want to leave camp?

Sparrowpaw looked at the exit and thought for a secound. Oh he wants to go hunting he thought. He noded "DO you want to go hunting?" he asked trying to make sence of his sighns. He smiled hopeing he got it right.

Blackpaw nodded enthusiastically and jumped up from his paws, tail wavering in excitement. Glad that the other cat made sense of what he was trying to get through to him. Not being able to sleep was incredibly annoying. With this, the youngster zoomed straight out the vestibule of ShadeClan in expectancy for Sparrowpaw to be running up behind him. The eagle attack as a kit giving him quite the fright, and Blackpaw had many things to his disadvantage, fast running being one of them, seemingly. But oh well, it is what it is. Life sucks but it's better than death.

Sparrowpaw smiled runing after him. He loved being with blackpaw for many reasons, he was a great lister not like he had a choice and he knew he could tell him anything. he smirked and pounsed on him playfully yet claws unleashed naturly, he attempted to pin him playfully.

Blackpaw unsheathed his claws, as well in a now natural manner since his older brother had become leader. The tom rolled over onto his back, stomach exposed before he launched back to his paws. With that, he friskily aimed low and tried to strike Sparrowpaw off balance. Giggling very oddly, the non--speaking cat flicked his tail. Without a tongue, he could still make strange noises, though not talk.

Sparrowpaw smiled and fell to the ground and giggled "nice moves blackpaw" he got up and paded next tobhim "lets keep going we need prey im staveing we can even impress foxstar!" He mewed
