Moon, with her white fur that was turning brown, looked around panting from on digging but looked forward and kept digging. Her legs tired and sore but she decided to go through no matter her pain. She looked at the sky and stoped digging and closed her eyes and hoped she would be beta but then she looked back down. why would I be beta? moon thought and looked back down and sighed but kept digging. She closed her eyes as she dug and kept repeating in her head why would I be beta? Why would I be beta? moon lowers her head and kept digging shaking her head trying to get the though out of her head.

I looked to Moon to tell her to get the other pack members to help but what i saw astonished me,she looked so sad.

"Moon,are you alright?You look sad,"I inquired,stopping my digging.My paws now covered with dirt fell silent.

Moon stoped and was panting "yeah, I'm fine," she said faking a smiled and looking back to the hole and continued digging and tried to look happy. Moon was panting a lot but she did not care the pack came first and that's all that mattered to her at the moment.

Though moon said she was fine and she forced a smile i didn't buy it but i decided not to push it.I turned away and started to dig again.The dirt flew up around her creating a huge mound behind her.

moon turened her gaze back to the ground and kept digging. she looked at the sky waiting for the time to get their ranks and she shook her head trying to get it out of her head.

Prancing more than walking as she slowed coming into camp, she went over to the kill pile, laying down her rabbit and tearing a just-big-enough hunk of juicy fawn meat off the fawn, in a sort of exchange. Despite giving back to the pack, not just taking, she didn't spoil herself too much - she took some of the more tough of the fawn meat, too tough for babies, though softer still than doe. Content with her trade and meal, she waltzed lightly to more of the side of the clearing to enjoy the wonderful food in her own thoughts as to its taste. She reflected happily, momentarily, on her new friend before digging in to relish her food.

It was almost dark and we had just finished digging the hole and we were now at the clearing, laying around trying to restored all our energy.The wind swept through the clearing cooling our bodies.

Mars sighed, "You worry too much, Wren," he sighed, outstretching his long limbs and caught up to her with ease. His golden gaze remained forward, locked on the wolves that dug at the Earth. "I suppose you got what you wanted," he added, nodding his head forward towards the working pack members. Without another word, the alpha continued past the lithe female before reaching his rock. The burly alpha climbed onto the stone and looked below him, seeing the depth of the hole from his current position. "Well done," he said, "We can drag the kill in there and store it. Thank you," he said kindly, although his tone was firm and unyielding. The alpha's ears flicked, nearly expecting Wren to remind him not to work with the wolves. He glanced towards the female, the one who had spoken to him with a concerned tone, and smirked.
