JANE
I woke up in the late afternoon. My wings ached from being in the odd position all night. I sat up and streched. FInally, I got to my feet. I was still quite groggy as I peeked over the building's edge. I sighed and took off. The wind blew past my face, sending my hair in all directions. My stomach growled yet it was hard to hear from the sound of the wind. I had not ate in day, and didn't know where to get food without being noticed and turned into the lab.

She looked over at battle, head tilted

Syrena folded her wings against her back before slipping her jacket on. She walked out of the dark alley, walking casually down the street.

Battle looked up at them and shook her head. "I'm fine," Battle responded. "What can I do to help?"
