Mani blinked her eyes again as he spoke - she could tell he had hesitated, although it wasn't too bad in the city. "Alright, follow me." She said, and then she turned, heading back towards the city. She crossed the road again, so they could take a short cut, and she checked both ways for cars before going across. She cleared the road, and then she waited for Castor to cross the road - the faster they got to the city, the quicker he could hopefully get back to his forest. She didn't even know how she was being so nice - maybe because he, unlike so many others, weren't as annoying.

[yeah, anthro is difficult to draw, I understand - but these scenes would be awesome to draw.

Without question, Castor followed her. He didn't have anything to say despite his rather wobbly trust in her; for one reason, he wasn't exactly a master of words, and for another, he didn't want her to shun him in the middle of the city. He was lucky that the roads around here were never too crowded, which granted him safe and almost immediate passage. He kept holding his arm with his right hand, shuffling as his wings weighed him down somewhat. He kept them tucked, instead using his tail to balance him. As Castor walked, he kept his eyes on Mani until he was across the road. Then he dropped his gaze, instead turning to the crowded city.

Mani began walking once more as Castor finally crossed the road, leading the way. The city, thankfully, wasn't the most crowded at this time of day - sure, it still would be crowded, but it would be better then it usually was. The wolf sometimes glanced around, taking shortcuts to the closest doctor she knew. Since Castor was from the forest, she wouldn't take him to a proper hospital, as it might be a bit too much, but she knew of some places they could go and get the same treatment. She tended to avoid the main streets as she made her way to the closest doctor.

Castor felt like he was being led into an entirely new world. His past had been built on gray and brown stone buildings, plenty of trees, and dusty roads. Now, however, everything was so different. It was almost too much to take in, as it was so strange up close. He made sure he didn't lose sight of Mani, but when he could follow her, he couldn't help but look about. He wanted to learn how everything worked; he saw odd devices, things he never knew about. He wondered what those were, and how they worked. Eventually, he fixed his gaze on Mani and followed her until she stopped.

Soon, Mani stopped, and she glanced at Castor. "Ok, we're here." She said, and she walked inside. "Go sit down in the waiting area." She motioned to the area with chairs. "I'll organize the appointment." And before he could argue, she walked up to the front desk. She waited until one came to talk to her, before she organized the appointment, quickly.

[Its fine, I have to go and sleep anyway x3.]

As Mani walked away, Castor decided that he hadn't much choice, and sat down to think. Here he was, back in the city. It wasn't as heartbreaking as it was interesting, but he knew that small pockets of his memories still lay scattered about outside. He stifled a sigh, then took a look at his arm. He wondered how well and how quickly it would heal if he got help from here instead of trying to mend it by himself in the forest; Mani would prove it, he knew, and hopefully soon. Maybe once he was done with all this, well, he could either dwell back home again, or try and explore the world as it was now. It was no easy choice for one like Castor.

Mani talked to the person at the desk, and organized the appointment before going to the waiting area, slightly annoyed - it would take them a while to get in to see someone. She sat down in a chair, that was one away from Castor's, and she muttered something under her breath before talking to him. "It might take a while for someone to come and have a look at your arm." She said, knowing that he might not be able to understand some of what she was saying, not that she cared right now.

Castor nodded, although he hardly listened to her. His mind was beginning to revisit the past, something he didn't want, but couldn't help. He closed his eyes and tried to banish the phantoms his mind was releasing, and then opened his eyes again. The room they were in was so quiet, it was hard not to let his thoughts wander. He tried to tie the tendrils together, keep his sanity apiece. It helped, giving Mani a sideways glance once in a while. Though it was hard, he managed to broaden the gap between him and his past, breaking he bridge. He bit his lower lip, and he felt better instantly. The small pain reined him to the present.

I remember two friends of mine who the entire class ships, and this one kid sat between them and made a heart shape with his arms :V ]

Mani could feel Castor's gaze fall on her from time to time - not that she took too much notice, she didn't look back at him, she just stared ahead of her, like she was out of it, in her own thoughts. Her left fingers tapped on the arm of her chair, making a bit of a rhythm. It was really silent - they were the only ones there, no one else was in the waiting room. The only sound you could really hear were the people by the desk, and they were whispering, its not like she could hear what they were saying...not like she wanted to, anyway, she just wanted this to be done and over with.

Castor kept his ears pricked, picking up the occasional noise over the constant tapping of Mani's fingers. He heard whispering voices from the desk, a tick-tock noise from what appeared to be a small clock mounted on a wall, a fly buzzing close to his left ear. He began to raise walls of self-consciousness around him; he never did well with these situations, and that certainly didn't change now. He decided that, up to now, he still hated waiting. Only then did he hear the sounds of a knob turning, and the faint creak of a door.
