+~Greetings, prospective student, and welcome to Graceton Academy For Young Sorcerers. This is a school soley dedicated to the education of young mages and sorcerers such as yourself. In a dark time such as this it is important that we train our youth as saviors of the new world that we hope to one day create. This way we can develope a strong, utopian society in which peace reigns and all wars shall end. With your help, we can one day achieve our dream. And so with that, we welcome you to Graceton Academy.~+

Graceton Academy is the kingdom's largest and most prestigious magical school. Founded by Professor Graceton in the year 3600 A.D., it has since seen generation upon generation of wizards ranging from the highest class families to first generation magic users. In 4012 A.D., a new empire began as the Festrine family took the throne. They brought about an age of war and tyranny, destroying much of the world as it was. The year is now 4570 A.D., and the last king just died, leaving his son in rule of the kingdom. His son has new ideas and the kingdom now has a promising future. The next generation of students has now arrived at Graceton Academy, and with them new hopes for the future. Hopefully, this will be the best year yet.

8. Fade to black if you so need. You may also use a seperate site (deviantart, quotev, etc.) if you wish to roleplay the explicit bits, but otherwise just either avoid it or FTB.
9. You are REQUIRED to give recaps when asked unless someone else already gave them one. I cannot be the only one giving recaps as it gets old quickly.
10. Do NOT ask for a repost. I see no point in making someone else go back to find you or your partner's last post when you could just as easily do it yourself.
11. Keep the violence mild please. Again, I don't want anyone getting in trouble here.
12. For now, I'd like for everyone to keep their characters to a limit of two per person. I may allow more later, but for now the max will be two.
13. Minimum of two sentences or fourteen words please! I will not accept 'He nods' as a veritable post. At least try.
14. Have as much drama, romance, etc. as you please, just please try to avoid being cheesy. It's really annoying...
15. Use proper grammar please. No text talk.
16. Please use brackets (example) in OOC (out of character, if you aren't aware.)
17. No god modding.
18. I reserve the right to not accept a form, although it is very unlikely that I won't, because I love people and want people to join. :3
19. Do NOT start roleplaying until I have accepted you! If you do then you will automatically not be accepted!
20. I know I have about five billion rules here, but they're incredibly simple and easy to follow, and I try to allow as much freedom for you as possible. So with that, HAVE FUN!!!

(Note: I work on a strike system, so each time you break a rule you get a strike. Three strikes and you're out. If you don't break a rule for a week after getting one, though, then it will go away.)

(Royals are members of the royal family ranging from distant branches to close relatives and hold some power in the kingdom.)
Noble
(Noble come form high society families with immense wealth that are given control of a small portion of the kingdom by the king himself.)
Priest/Priestess in training
(Priest and priestesses are religious individuals who dedicate their lives in devotion to God and practice magic under his name.)
Mage
(Mage's are lower class sorcerers and wizards who study magic and use it in their everyday lives. These are the scholars of the magic world.)
Apprentice
(An apprentice is one who is training to become a wizard or sorcerer and possesses varying levels of magic from that of a novice to that of a Mage.)
Knight In Training
(Knights serve the kingdom and use magic to defend and protect its boundaries and citizens. They are given a certain prestige due to rank within the kingdom.)

Missions are tasks set on a board within the school. Students who have the required rank and skill may accept these missions and can work in teams as well. Number of participants vary depending on mission, and students who do not have the required rank and/or skill may only attend if accompanied by a student who does match the requirements. These missions will be constantly updated so that new ones will be appearing frequently.

Rank is your student's level as a wizard/sorcerer. Each and every student begins at a rank of 0 and can rank up by taking special tests. A student may only take a test, however, after gaining the required amount of skill first,

Skill is a point system meant to represent how well a student is doing in their magical studies. Each day a student will receive 5 points for attending class. If you do not attend class, then you will not receive points. You can also gain points by going on missions, fighting, and various other ways. You will be informed if you gain skill in a way not listed, and all your skill points will be kept track of on this page. You cannot ever lose skill points for any reason.

She is incredibly jealous of her older sister, and tries hard at everything in order to try and surpass her. Her failure in magic eats at her, and she often becomes very irritated when spells don't go as planned, which they usually dont. Her temper is short and she has little control over it and no wish to gain control over it. She is stubborn, and hates not getting her way as she was spoiled her entire life. Despite her rude, hateful outer shell, she can actually be really sweet at times, and has a soft heart that she only shows to her dog Lilliath. Because of her abrasive personality, she's also never really had any friends and was often teased because of it. This left her lonely and very mistrusting of others. She instead treats Lilliath as her only friend and trusts no one besides her.

+Ħιƨтσяʏ+: Cecelia was born in the royal castle at the center of the capital city of Garanesdale. Being the niece of the King, her room was filled with gifts of all sorts from all over the kingdom, and her uncle and cousin, the current king, were right by her bedside along with her father when she was born. She lived in the castle until she was eight, and always looked up greatly to her older cousin. When she was nine years old, her family moved to their own estate out in the country. She lived there for many years, spending her time reading, horseback riding, practicing her magic, translating runes, and learning different languages. She tried very hard to be the perfect daughter, wanting to surpass her sister who had always been a star among the magic world. Her sister, six years older than her, is an idol in the magical world and very much adored for her charm, beauty, Grace, and power. This naturally left her sister very jealous, and created the overachiever that Cecelia is. She begged her parents when she was fourteen to allow her to attend Graceton Academy, but they refused because of her 'disasterous' luck with magic. She continued to beg them, though, and they finally allowed her to attend this year.

+Ѳтнɛя+: Cecelia has trouble with magic, and always has. She is an ace at runic translation, though, and can speak fluently in multiple languages. Magic and potions are not her specialty, though, and it can even be dangerous to be near her when she is working with either.

+Ħιƨтσяʏ+: Cecelia found Lilliath wandering the streets and starving when she was twelve years old. She took the lost puppy in and fed it, giving it a bath and cleaning her wings. At first her parents refused to let her keep the dog, but she was stubborn and eventually got her way. Now her and Lil are practically inseparable and go everywhere together.

He is always willing to lend a helping hand, and can be quite brave when needs be. He would never leave anyone behind, and is quite willing to put himself in harms way to protect others. He can be quite shy, though, and doesn't really talk much. Despite his friendly and kind attitude, he has a very hard time making friends and can sometimes find social situations very awkward. He also tends to somewhat fear others, especially those with bad tempers, because of his family's tragic demise in his childhood. He especially holds a disdain for those who speak against the Royal family, having lived the first few years of his life under their protection. He will listen to anything anyone has to say, though, and won't try to contradict them openly.

+Ħιƨтσяʏ+: Aston was the son of a lord and lived in a small estate as a child. When he was six, however, the local town's citizens rose up in revolt against them and burned the mansion to the ground, killing everyone inside. He managed to escape with the help of a kind servant he'd always been fond of, and ran off into the woods. It was winter time, and he was freezing in only knee length trousers, a loose white shirt, and no shoes. He arrived at a farm and the man and woman living there gladly took him in and bed and clothed him. He stayed there for a little while, and the man and his wife eventually adopted him. He feared that someone might try to kill him if they knew his true origin, and so he pretended to have lost his memory, claiming he remembered nothing before arriving at the farm that night. The man - Lucef Mayrelle - and his wife - Deidra Mayrelle - brought him up on the farm and taught him to ride horseback, grow crops, and carry out the everyday tasks of a farmer. It became evident when he was eleven that he had a gift for magic, a trait passed along from his birth family, and they brought him to the town sorcerer to be taught. When he was sixteen he applied for a scholarship to Graceton Academy and got it, heading off only a day after his seventeenth birthday to begin at the school.

+Ѳтнɛя+: Aston comes from the Zela family, a family once well known for their natural abilities and skills in magic. Their specialty was air, and every Zela family member was a high ranking wizard, each having attended Graceton Academy in their time. After the family's demise, it was thought the entire line died out, when in fact the young son had survived. He now carries on the family tradition of going to Graceton and hopes to one day become a high ranking sorcerer like those before him. Due to his having grown up on a farm, he also has a strong connection with the earth and therefore has a double magic strength, excelling in both air and earth.

Marina Tereo is the daughter of William Tereo, the head priest of a pagan village settled deep in a series of mountains to the east.

{History}
Marina's great, great grandmother was amongst a group of settlers that fled to the mountains after being severely persecuted by citizens of the town they once inhabited. The group was labeled as heretics for supporting Marina's great great grandmother after the girl claimed to be healed by a strange, earthly spirit. Having no where else to go, they migrated into the mountains where they could worship the spirit without fear.
Being the first to have communicated with the spirit, Marina's great great grandmother was elected the village's high priestess and the role was then passed down through her family.
