Since Six ran out of time for Blue and Giselle, I call dibs!

(This is only for Plumies in official ships right now) AU where every Plumie is born with a band on his/her wrist counting down the time he/she will meet his/her soul mate by the week, day, hour, minute, and second, like a digital clock. Give a little snippet about what happened when your Plumie counted down the seconds and met his/her soul mate!

Giselle walked down the dock. She had booked this trip weeks in advance, not even stopping to realize that it perfectly coincided with the day that her timer trickled down to 0. Naturally, she was anxious- an unusual and foreign feeling to the level-headed, collected Plume. She was also excited. Would her soul mate be on one of the boats, hosing it down? Stepping out onto the dock to tie their ship? Or, perhaps, her soul mate would be going on the glass bottom boat tour that she had been looking forward to since she booked it...

She tried to steady her racing thoughts as she walked down, down, down, watching the timer all the way. But even though the sun was shining and the water gleamed, no one seemed to be enjoying the weather. She breathed deeply, her complete faith in the timer.

Only 30 seconds left until she laid eyes on her soul mate.
She kept walking, almost shaking with anticipation.

10 seconds.
Up ahead was a boat with glass paneling on the sides... could it be the boat?

As Giselle walked forwards, increasing her pace in excitement, she trained her eyes on the boat. But there was no one on it, not a single soul. She still had 5 seconds. It was going to be okay. It had to be okay. What if it wasn't okay?

And then, as she neared the boat, she spied a tail on the opposite side, partially hidden by the docks. She peered around the side, where a figure lay with one paw in the water, so deeply mesmerized by the ocean that she had forgotten about her own timer. Giselle was taken aback. She was beautiful, extraordinary. This was her.
