Tybalt 'Ty' Alexander Jackson

Ty was running late, as per usual. He had overslept his alarm and now Ace wasn't helping. The bay Irish Sports Horse was refusing to load. Ty sighed, exasperated and ran his free hand through his brown hair before he led the horse away from the trailer, turning him around and walking purposefully towards it. "C'mon boy, c'mon." He said, egging his horse on. Ace's ears flicked back and forth, listening to everything around him. Finally, the stallion put one hoof onto the black rubber of the ramp, and after some encouragement from his owner, the other three followed in quick pursuit. Ty led him into the stall and tied Ace's leadrope to the twine on the metal ring, before closing the partition. He then pushed the ramp up and jumped into his car. "Let's go." He muttered to himself, doing up his seatbelt and glancing behind him at his horse, now tucking into the haynet he had for the journey.
Ty pulled into the yard only a touch later than everyone else, due to favourable traffic. He pulled into the car park, hopping out of his car and round to the side of the trailer to lower the ramp. Ramp lowered, the teen walked up, untying the stallion and leading him down the ramp and out into the yard. He'd come round before, to scout out the place, so knew what stall his horse was due to be in. He quickly put Ace in his box, moving his haynet over so he had something to do in his stable. As he was walking back to his land rover, he saw Kara struggling with two horses and a suitcase. The teen made his way over to her, an amicable smile on his face. "Hey, I'm Ty. You look like you could use a hand." He said. Although he was just as new as she was, giving her a hand would probably help get to know her, and it wasn't a bad way to start the year by making a new friend.
