he chuckled, holding out his hand for a support. "name's luke; you alright there, mate?" luke then flicked a tad bit of his wing out from behind him, but in a quick motion was gone for a sense of reassurement. in the moments pause, he gazed over her overall appearance, quirking an eyebrow to her clumsiness. certainly doesn't appreciate being scared. luke grinned to himself with a silent chuckle in his mind to his own comment, pulling at his lip piercing in thought.

luke gave a slight nod, stuffing his hand back into his pocket. "i wouldn't think i scare that much," he laughed under his breath, "now then, what's your name?" he questionably pressured with an urge, tapping against his leg, having to stare down at her smaller figure, compared to himself. either everyone else is really short, or i'm just - tall and stalky. luke admitted to himself, taking out one hand, brushing it through his quaff, then returning it slimly.

"Well, if you thought you were alone and heard a voice randomky i think you may get a bit freaked out" she said quietly. "Also, my name is max" she said a bit louder

"then you should check out your surroundings better, i was only on that ledge." luke lazily looked in the direction of the building, a couple hundred yards away. "an' nice to meet ya', nice to have yet another winged creature in the city." he joked quite pitifully to the judgmental nature of the humans that stayed locally, running his teeth along his bottom lip to the plain thought. It isn't easy.

"You must be in a world like this." he shook his cranium, frowning to an extent. "I've got to go, setting sun means scavenging; goodbye, little klein," luke nodded in dismissal, flicking himself onto a smaller building with his wing spam, eventually landing onto the ground in the direction of a forest. he wouldn't chance himself with the humans, and trying to break into a deli, instead he simply caught what he could, which often worked for his abilities.

She watched him go and sat on the roof. "On my own again" she sighed to herself, staring at the ground.

luke plainly decided on berries; his arms quite tiresome, he didn't feel like dealing with something that could run away. so he simply picked for a while, loading everything into his pockets carefully, of coarse, checking to see if anything was poisonous before stocking it away. he knew the sun was setting rapidly, just shaking it off to the back of his mind until he had finished, stepping out to the cooler night air. and with his pockets filled, he flew backup the taller building he was first at, sitting cross - legged with his wings spread, acting as a shield fro the wind. luke then began to plop each berry into his mouth one by one, savoring the sweeter flavor. and finally, with some distraction, he glanced back down to max, taking his aim and throwing a berry in the small area on the rooftop that she was in, stifling a small laugh at his attempt.
