They're a species of dragons originating in china; a species said to be born from Qinglong (The serpent of the east); and Baihu(The white tiger of the west); They're said to be a species that brings peace and unity to the lands and its people.They generally spent their lives guarding the imperial gardens of the chinese emporer for hundreds of years. However,in the age of the Napoleonic wars, english soldiers came into possession of these creatures; breeding and selling them for profit; so now they're located all over the world; still doing what they can to unite people in understanding; for their birthright and their ancestors.
As a species they range from catlike to dragonlike, some have wings or horns, some don't. They all have feline tails, and all have dragonlike noses. They can be any colors or patterns. almost all of them wear metal cuffs somewhere on their bodies; as each cuff bears a symbol of their family on the inner ring.
For one to lose its cuffs is a symbol of banishment or disgrace among their kind;unless they are passed down-in which case they are simply seen as elders. A Tufted Dragon doesn't receive its cuffs until its an adult;as they're often passed from parents or elders to the younger.
Around humans they are sweet and caring, their fur is extremely soft-and legend says they were touched by the gentle north wind as a blessing of their birth.
The name 'Tufted Dragon is an English lamen's term. Their name in chinese are the Bái lóng (White dragons); and scientific name in Latin is Serpentem felis
They live anywhere from 50-100 years. Their lifespan is determined by their lifestyle.
They may have powers-but only the most rare has the genuine flame/ice/thunder /ect breaths of their ancestor dragons.
-No selling or trading, you may only gift with permission. If you don't want your dragon you can gift it or have it put up for readoption.
-don't whine if you don't win
-don't be rude
-you may have 5 for the time being; staff may have 7
-dont ask to be artist/mod/ect,i'll open for forms when I feel like it.
-don't ask to make one; they're a closed species.
-You may add accessories to your dragon; but you may not add hair,horns, edits, or other physical alterations.
/Species restrictions
-A dragon without cuffs of any sort is RARE
-They do not have to be the ones that are in the lines, you can add them anywhere.
-Any colors are possible; go wild.
-Go for any edits you want; Wings-horns-extra fur-fins-crystals-Theres a bunch of types of dragons;The only things you may NOT change are the feline-esque tail (Though you can change its shape/make it furrier/thinner/whatever)
-They CAN have more than one tail.
-They CAN have multiple heads (though this is a MUTATION, and exceedingly rare, ask me first.
-Don't make customs without permission.
