I looked up at him with so much pain in my eyes, all my memories flooding back.
"No. Its not you. It wasn't my parents. It was, an old aquantince, you could say. I'm fine, I just don't want to talk about it yet. Anyway, time for my surprise." I smiled again and pushed Justin out of my mind.
"And I'm not drunk, so don't laugh." I blushed slightly and walked up to the manager.

He was still worried about her. She seemed so torn up about whatever it was that had happened, but he didnt press the issue. She would talk about it when she was ready. "All right then. I promise I wont laugh." He said, leaning back in the booth and watched her walk up to the manager. He smiled and blushed and took a sip of his water. He was amazed that another person could make him feel like this, let alone someone he just met.

After consulting the manager, I walked up to the empty stage, my tall heel clicking with every step. On the way there. I stopped to grab a mic and mic stand. I dragged the mic stand behind me and got up on the stage as a white light turned to shine on me. Dan?!iel had a booth near the stage, which was good. I quickly scrolled through my phone until I found a song and plugged it into th quickplayer.
"Hey everyone! I'm Shezza, and I'm here to sing a song for you. I'll be singing Tidal Wave by Owl City. Thanks." I smiled at Daniel.

He smiled up at her, his eyes gleaming. He regretted the comment he had made about laughing at the peoplewho sang when they were drunk, but he had meant it. He was amazed that people had the guts to get upand sing in front of a group of strangers. He could never do that. He gave her a thumbs up sign as he smiled like an idiot, then clasped his hands together and blushed, watching Shezza up on the stage.

I clicked play on my phone and the song started to play.

He applauded her happily, a smile spreading across his face. When she reached the table, he said, "Wow, Shezza! That was amazing." He was very surprised and happy. "Youre so good at singing," he said, still marvelling at her.
