{*sigh of relief* Thank you! And it is a great picture, I love the lighting in it. I spent forever trying to find a picture of a dapple grey on a beach, but I actually like the storm better now.
Also, do you have anyone open for Fiera?}

A smile appeared on the dark filly's face when she saw Wing and Apollo coming over. "Hello!" She nickered, nipping playfully at Apollo's mane and then looking to Wing. "Hi Wing! Dream's my mom, she's over there." She replied, pointing to her mother who was having a conversation with Sun.

A handsome paint stallion let his body lay against the cool grass. When the stallion decided it was time to wake and search for a herd, he grunted, not wanting to stand, Alas, with a final grunt he stood up and called out contently, beginning his journey for a herd. He'd eaten enough food to last a few hours, and was only going to stop for water.. or if he saw a great patch of grass. His main focus: find mares. A loud whinny yet again left his pink and black lips as his need to start and grow a herd lingered. He looked up and flicked his ears as he heard a mare. With a gentle nicker he called out to her and watched patiently.
Sage- Mare- 7 years- red chestnut (I think)- Quarter Horse- Searching
The lovely red colored mare whinnied yet once more as she raced through the somewhat tall, cool grasses of whatever wild field she happened to have entered. Shaking out her mane, hoof struck rock as she did a tiny half step in dance then leaped off and away again. Snorting, she ran on as the sun partially come behind a cloud but still shown enough to strike off her coat and make it a more dazzling red in color as she perked her ears. She heard the whinny of a stallion and released one of her own as she again ran and soon she saw him in a small field nearby.

--- Oh how horribly lovely this day had turned out. Lucifer had returned from months of travelling to come across Pan and Grim hovering over a huge herd and lingering on the edge had been this jewel. A diamond in the rough. The apple to his eye. Hundred of mares lived in this valley but not one of them could compare to Pandora. In fact, he had moved far out of this land and still there was not a single like her. Perhaps there was his previous lover but she was on a different scale to Pandora. This one, she was something else. No matter what she would always claim that he belonged to her and vice versa but the truth was, they were simply chained together now. By some unspoken agreement they had developed a relationship next to never seen by other equines; one of sexual and emotional benefit.
Love was out of the question. No string attached. That would surely cause trouble. But with Lucifer's dare to mount this lovely temptress, he had agreed to something he had never wanted; a commitment. Punishment would be laid out for him, no doubt. Pandemic would be furious. Lucifer had sworn his alliance to the older chestnut so this was sure to cause some drama. No matter, Lucifer could take it.
His name still being purred in his ears, they were now resting after their carnal game. Sweet coated his fur but it appeared Pandora was in worse shape. The smell of their efforts wafted off the pair and Lucifer bitterly accepted that he was out of practise. He rarely accepted female. How had this one managed to make him succumb to his male desires? The answer was beyond his knowledge. Or perhaps it was there, buried within his manipulative techniques and devious plotting. She was too similar to him, dangerously so. But once again, not the slightest damn was given. Lucifer would do what he wanted with Pandora. Screw the rules. That's my motto. Screw the rules, screw Pan, screw the world and at the end of the day, screw Pandora...literally. Knowing that he was thinking inappropriately, Lucifer gave a dark chuckle, not bothering to explain his mental humour to his partner.
Grooming Pandora lazily he didn't really bother to clean it up. He was too exhausted for that, his sides still heaving slightly. Surely she must know the setbacks of this arrangement. If she was so good at seducing the opposite sex then she must have quite the reputation. How would she feel, cutting off all accessibility to other males by pledging her loyalty to him. Lucifer had never been interested in making a herd. If he ever did it would only consist of two or three quirky mares who would understand his rules of how they operated. One, their bodies were his. Two, emotions were not a priority. And three, they had to be ready to travel. Lucifer loved to travel.
And what about himself. Of course he would never pick up random mares for the sake of making a bigger herd. They would have to be special. But would she approve? Was this allowed? Her voice mulled it's way into his skull and Lucifer gave a grunt. "I believe we may have let our emotions get away with us, darling. So I must clarify this; we are not tied like lovers nor are you some brood like the normal herds. I do intend to fling with more of your delicious gender and you're welcome to do the same with stallions. I simply beg that we both remember that there is a rope around our necks and at the other end of that rope is one another."
As if the world wanted to confirm this, a whinny pierced the air and was from close by. Lucifer's ears didn't even perk in the direction. He was focused solely on the demonic cherub before him. After a minute of staring he chose to bring his mouth close to her ear, "I believe some poor soul just called for the company of Satan and his consort. Shall we?" Turning slowly he allowed his strength to return to his body before he began to walk easily through the forests. They weren't far from Pan's herd so he could still keep an eye on it. Coming into an opening he laid his eyes upon two mares; Jenna and Jess. What luck, two. Lucifer perked his ears in mild interest.
He was about to approach if he hadn't noticed a figure on the other side of the meadow. A black horse accompanied by a paint and a golden mare. He knew that stallion. He had travelled to that male's hometown and met him. That was the infamous Death. Suddenly, Lucifer's ears flicked. If there was a most handsome stallion competition, even Lucifer would have to say that Death would win. He was a sleek black, irresistible. And suddenly his words to Pandora made him bite his tongue. Would she go flirt with Death? Deciding to play it cool he neighed to Jenna and Jess, watching warily at Death who had decided to graze quietly with his two female companions.
Jenna and Jess
The chestnut mare whinnied softly to her sister as she looked at the shy mare and smiled at her reassuringly. Now that the whinnies were directed towards the blood bay at the moment, and not some stallion or another, Jenna noticed that the mare calmed down and seemed a lot more relaxed. She smiled and snorted as she dipped her head and ran her muzzle along her sister's neck then looked up again as she heard the far off approach of hooves. On one side, was one stallion and one mare, and on the other a black stallion and two mares...Snorting, she swiveled her ears towards the one with one companion (Lucifer) and whinnied to gain his attention.leviathan; wrote:D E C E I V I N G

--- Death's whole head rolled with all this new information. While he had been busy nursing Riot back to the best health he could get her too, Fiasco had been abusing Honey and so had Morgan. How could she have done that? Death had welcomed her into the group and treated her like a lover. To repay him she had gone and hurt those he had held dear to his heart. Dancer, Honey. Fiasco was a bastard for what he had done and Death would never forgive him. Something deep within Death boiled and simmered, waiting for a time when it could rise up and possess the black stallion; an aggression that was rarely seen. It was Death's real flaw, sometimes he just couldn't control his fury. It was a trait given to him from his father.
Giving his head a shake to try and lose such negative emotions he felt Honey press her muzzle against him and he leaned against her for comfort before allowing the stunning mare to amble off. She was so beautiful. Nami was soon distracting him though and he nodded absently to her challenge. A race. Huh, funny how things lost their fun when there was something else on his mind. Would the child be okay? How would he treat it? Where was Fiasco? Out of all these important questions he instead found himself saying, "How are you feeling Tsunami? It's been a while since you've seen Charade, I assume." After all, Nami was like a daughter to him.
As they arrived at the meadow that she had chosen out, Death had kept pace with her the whole way, not even straining. It appeared neither had won the race because Death had simply tried to stay beside her instead of overtake her. Upon arrival though he was quick to see the place was occupied. Two mares in the middle who's calls he hadn't even heard and then on the other side was a tall and brawny stallion with a very curvaceous and pretty mare. Death tore his gaze away from the mare before Nami could tease him about it. The two mares, Jenna and Jess were both paint and very pretty.
He would have tried to make conversation but he knew the grey stallion. Lucifer. A nomad really, Death had brawled with him once. Over what? Riot. The mare had been having a particularly bad day and had run off. When Death had found her she had been chatting to Lucifer. The mad mare had been oblivious to the fact that Lucifer had been about to cover her. So Death had fought him off. Looking over to Nami now, he wondered if she remembered the guy. "Maybe we should just...linger for a moment. I don't trust him with those two ladies."
Jess and Jenna
The blood bay Painted mare snorted and flicked her ears up again, perking them at her sister as her sister now directed the whinnies to her and not out at the world to try and get some stallion to either notice her herself or both she and Jess. Smiling a little, she nodded as Jenna asked if she was alright, and she rather quietly said "Yes." Perking her ears as she heard voices, they were closer to Death and his companions (ha, Pun...), she looked up and saw first the good looking black and his two mare companions, then glanced over and noticed the gray stallion and the mare whom appeared to be traveling with him...Snorting, she flinched as her sister again began to blast whinnies, this time trying to gain the attention that of the gray stallion...She backed up two steps.Cιєℓ Pнαηтσмнινє wrote:Winter smiled at the mare's comment. However, she knew better and replied, "In a little while. Eskimo and I are getting tired, but we can make it a little further."

The mare snorted and blew out a breath as she took in the scents of the area round them, then looked back to the mare and nodded at her as she gave a small, fleeting smile. Shaking her mane out, she held back a single whinny that wished to give way as she looked round. Snorting, she pointed out the small copse of trees that not only would provide shade but also shelter and perhaps hide them too, again.

on a better note, i am working on a reply for bea, rio and reaper. i am thinking about have reaper go after mystery and astria after they are kicked out, maybe even venus so all three can have a filly. as for having one of your studs ciel come join in on rio's raid of shura's herd, i would rather not. and i also jave something else to say to the people that roleplay shura's mares. rio was snaking them, you can't just have them take a few steps away then watch a fight that clearly rio will win but anywho.]

Wish lifts her head from grazing and looks forward, her ears pointed in the direction of the sound of hooves. The mare starts to turn away but then pauses when she hears the sound of laughter. She's hesitant to move forward and towards the mystery horses, but she doesn't want to return to the beach alone. Despite the noise of nature it feels so silent there and every wave seems to taunt Wish, pushing her towards the shore. The mare decisively turns and takes a few steps forward but just as suddenly the will to meet others is gone. What if they don't meet her expectations? That disappointment is almost a guarantee. As Wish hesitates her thoughts turn towards survival. The wind of the ocean is cold and harsh, the sand is already crisp with the start of frost. It's noticeably warmer inland. It's not the same though. Can she give up the calming saltiness of the air for warmth? Can she give up the relaxation of the shore for the chance to make friends? Can she give up her freedom for herd life? The choice is made for Wish when the horses breach the hillock and keep running towards her, surely she must be seen already.
