He was intrigued by this girl. He wondered what she meant by that but pushed it out of his mind as the waitress came by asking for their drink orders. "Uh, Ill have a water please." He said and looked up at Shezza.

Shezza

"Ill have a bloody Shirley Temple, thanks!"
I looked over at Daniel and he looked confused at my order
"A bloody Shirley Temple is a strawberry Shirley Temple, well depending on the restaurant. Once I ordered one and they gave me a Bloody Mary with a cherry in it, like eww."

Daniel.
He chuckled at this. "Im not a fan of cherries myself." He said and smiled. "Not really a fan of any other type of drink other than water." He sighed, realizing how boring he sounded. The waitress came back with their drinks and he played with his straw.

Shezza

We just sat they sipping our drinks and glancing at each other over our menus, trying to figure each other out.
"Sooooo what are you going to order?" I asked, trying to break the awkward silence.

"I was thinking a pizza, would you like to split one?" He smiled ar her."Oh, I.meant to ask you earlier, how did you get involved in motorcycles in the first place?" He put down his menu and folded his hands over his menu, waiting for her to answer.

Shezza

I smiled at him kindly. Id never known anyone who actually cared about my past.
"Yeah Id love to split one. And as for the motorcycling, its a long, dark, and depressing story. Ok so, wh-" my phone started ringing with my ringtone of Animals by Maroon5.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" I started laughing really hard and I covered my face with my hand.
"So sorry I should take this one sec Daniel."
I picked up the phone and heard the haunting bass tone of my old crush. Oh crap. Not here. Not now. I was havng fun, and tonight was the first time I've sincerly smiled since my old school. I didn't want to do this now. I'm pretty sure that my smile disappered and Daniel could tell something was up.

He looked up at Shezza with a concerned look on.his face. He wanted to know what was going on and why she looked so nervous. He took a sip of his water and looked back up at her. He could kind of hear the voice on the other end, but couldnt comprehend the words. It sounded like a male voicee. Daniel hoped he didnt get her in trouble with her father or something.

Shezza

-"Hey Shezzie. How are you love?"-
"Don't call me that. I'm busy, what do you want?
-"Aww, caught you at a vulnerable time Liza? When your about to expose your self underneath that hard shell I broke so easily? Sorry babe."-
I got up from the table and walked outside into the cold.
"Stop, please. I'll talk to you tomorrow please don't do this to me right now."
-"Ah, so I did! Even better. Look baby I miss you and I'm in town so I was wondering if you'd ditch tomorro and come on a date with me."-
"Justin, st-stop I can't. I don't want to fall into you again." Tears welled in my eyes.
-"No. I will never stop with you. You will come with me tomorrow, or else."-
"N-no, I won't. I'll never go back to you. Not after what you did to me." I was crying into the phone now.
-"See you tomorrow sweetheart Shezzie."-
And he hung up.
I stood out in the cold for a moment just silently crying before I wiped my tears and walked back inside sniffling and wiping my eyeliner off my cheeks. I sat down again and acted like I was fine, like nothing happened.

By now he was exceedingly concerned. He watched her from inside, debating whether or not to go out or not. After a while he said, "I didnt get you into trouble with your folks, did I?" He studied Shezza noticing her tears. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked kindly.
