We now have a real trading system! Instead of just the ability to give a single pet to someone, you can send a real trade to someone: You offer zero or more pets, in exchange for zero or more pets of the other person. They get a PM telling them about the trade, and they can either accept the trade, cancel the trade, or make changes to the trade and send it back for approval.
You can access the new trading features from the "Trading center" link on the right side of the main page:

(I'll be making it easier to start a trade over the next couple of days, for example, starting a trade from your pet's page, or by selecting pets from your "My pets" page, or the "My pets" page of others).
Pets that people have given you before this system was introduced will appear in your trading center as completed trades (with incorrect dates, they'll all be dated about 10 minutes before this post). The trading system will keep records of trade dates from now on, so you'll be able to tell when you got your newly traded pet in future
. It also stores information that'll let you see the pet's history of owners, but we're not showing this information yet (I need to finish that display.. ).If you have any problems with or suggestions for the new system, please tell me right away..
