Seeing as the land began to slope Triston dug his paws into the ground to keep himself steadied. It would have been easier to just flat out run down the slope but if he did that then the noise would surely scare off any prey. As they moved further into the valley a faint rustling could be heard just up ahead. Triston flicked his ear and jerked his head towards the sound hoping Hollow would understand.

Hollow nodded and creeped quietly next to Triston, making sure not to step on anything else, but the ground.

Triston crept forward careful to keep himself hidden amoungst the low brush. Once he reached a sort of clearing he peered ahead only to see a deer that had bedded down for the night. Triston looked to Hollow and flicked his tail indicating she should circle around behind the deer.

I sigh and call out, " damien, calnen, anyone home." I wait and shrink down against the door sitting on the doorstep.
