Fen’s first instinct when the man approached him asking if there was a problem was to trust him. That was unusual, but he’d learned over the years that his Absol side was often wiser than his human side (and Riz agreed). He took in the man’s appearance, from the brilliant blue eyes to the strangely floating hair, there was no way this man was not a deviant like him. He was quite handsome too, another part of his brain told him. Riz caught the thought and snickered mentally at him, then thought forcefully at him, Now’s not the time! Fen acknowledged Riz’s thought with a pat on the Absol’s head, then breathed in and looked the man in the eyes, deciding to take a risk and trust him. “Trouble, from the organization most likely. Near the entrance, the three men in grey suits. They’ve been following us for weeks.” He said in a low voice meant to not be overheard.

Shirley saw a man and an absol being followed into a restaurant by three men, and decided she would see why they were following him. That isn't advisable ms. Shirley, especially seeings as you refuse to cover yourself up more. the vulpix 'said', not wanting to get into a fight with this many people around. It'll be fine Ember, odds are the man just didn't pay them a debt or something. she said, ignoring her partner's warnings.

A frown came to his face as he looked over at the entrance and at the men that the other deviant pointed out; Darryl was pretty sure that this person was an Absol deviant, what with the sixth sense of sorts and the Absol. "Chances are that if we leave then they'll follow and perhaps take matters in their own hands...but maybe if we split them up we could try to loose them..." Darryl said in a quiet voice also, then considered the public would find whispering suspicious so he introduced himself in his normal voice, "The name's Darryl, by the way." This was his own little plan, normal sounding bits are said out loud whereas secret bits are quiet.

Awkwardly forcing a smile, Nicholas stuck out the hand that wasn't burned for her to shake. "NIcholas," he responded quietly, staring intently at the girl with his cat-like irises. The man had eyes with depth; soulful orbs that seemed to pierce one's very soul. He coughed awkwardly as the moment soon passed, and took a step away from the girl. "I'm-..uh, sorry, if I spelled any coffee on you. I-I wasn't watching my actions."

Iggy gripped Jackson's hand tighter, before suddenly yanking his arm with a sharp tug. "Ow!" The elder boy complained, as he looked down at his shorter companion, his face one of confusion. The Lugia Deviant giggled, before pointing to a nearby shop. The large, and decorative sign advertised the popular franchise 'Toyland', whose interior was polluted with various interactive games, and toys. One could interact with the exhibits for free, but it was actually taking the objects home that emptied one's pockets.

Jackson sighed, shaking his head slowly. He knew the child just wanted to act like a kid, but they had to stay close to their mission. Secure the information needed, and hightail it out of there. The large city was a magnet for Deviants, and where the peculiars went, trouble was bound to follow.

Fen caught on to what Darryl was doing, and replied in a normal voice, "Nice to meet you, I'm Fen." He then lowered his voice and continued, "Losing them won't work. I've been trying for several weeks, each time I think they're gone they show up again." He shook his head, then grinned as an idea came to him. "Hey, what if we cause some chaos in here?" A dangerous glint showed in his eyes as he considered the prospect of revenge on humanity, but then it quickly disappeared as reason took control again. "...Nah, that won't work... we'd get pinned as the stereotype." He shook his head again.

"Ah, Fen's a cool name," Darryl commented, "What about your Absol?" He asked. It was funny sounding since his dark (and even eerie) voice certainly didn't suit having warm, casual conversations. "If we caused chaos then they'll be distracted." He considered quietly, "Oh, no, the chaos thing could work. Or perhaps I could play a little part in this - simple but effective." Darryl offered with a sort of mischievous grin on his face, "There's nothing wrong with raising a little Hell out of self defence."

Shirley walked over to the man with the absol, who was talking to someone else. "hello, may i ask who those three men are?" she asked, not bothering to be quiet, and pointing at the three men, whose attention she had grabbed when she walked in. "oh, by the way, I'm Shirley and this is my partner Ember." she said introducing herself.

Shay giggled a bit more as she shook the boys hand, "it's fine, you didn't spill any on me." She hadn't noticed his staring, but she did notice his Irises. Are you a Deviant too? she thought to him, not worrying about the chance that he might not be a deviant.

Nicholas seemed taken awake by her sudden mental intrusion, jerking his fingers from hers. "W-what?" He sputtered aloud, causing a few out looks from those around him. After all, his words were out of context when compared to her, given the fact she had been answering a simple question.
