She was growing tired and was slowing up slowly, bit by bit, her paws trying to keep running.

Finchpaw:
He saw this, and caught up to her tail, but couldn't catch his breath so he couldn't go faster he actually slowed down.

Ryepaw-
She slowed down, trying to keep up her endurance and jumped over a log, tripping over her paws a bit.

[Okay?]

Finchpaw:
He noticed her trip and slowed more, breathing hard he saw a clearing up ahead and decided to stop there.

[♥Meeshi♥]

Ryepaw got up and raced forward again, running the extra stretch towards the clearing above.

[Okay?]

Finchpaw:
He reached the clearing and collapsed breathing hard, "that was a run" he mewed, gasping for air

Ryepaw collapsed as well staring at him as she t ok deep breaths, her sides heaving,"yes...it...was."

[Okay?]

Finchpaw:
He rolled on his back starring up at the clouds. His heart was pounding and he was sure every cat could hear it.

Ryepaw watched him and scrambled closer to him, setting her tired head on his chest.

Finchpaw:
He set his paw on her shoulder, purring. Then began to lick her head, cleaning off some dirt and b sand.
