      ideas?

Hmm...that's a pretty weird color to name for. It's like a smokey black.

I guess you could try Dark-, Fly-, Ivy-, Mole-, Shade-, Slug-, or Soot-? Those would probably be the best options.

http://ailuronymy.tumblr.com/search/coot - I found this name, do you think it would be suitable for that cat with the black head/tail?
im quitting this game, i dont even enjoy it anymore, but i really did while it lasted!

Unfortunately not. The cat's coloring is pretty much the exact opposite of what the name is for. Any of the names under the white category on Ail's, though, would be perfect for him (my recommendation is Sloe-).

Do forgive me for the sudden sharp tone, but you have got to be kidding me.

I think me just providing lists of prefixes for people has made quite a few people (not just you) a bit presumptuous. The number of posts that are just pictures of a cat and a simple "I need a name" has steeply increased over the past...what, week? I really should just be telling you people to look at the links I provide on the front rutting page because it's not that hard to find what you're looking for, but I've been too polite and just went with it. The end result is that people are straight up dumping their characters here and having me do the work for them.

Do you know how many times someone's asked me for a white cat suffix list? A white cat. That's not like on the grey prefix list where some are for dark and some are for plain - it's a white cat. Every single name on the white list works. I've just been copying and pasting for the past week because everyone's asking me the same thing over and over!

And now...you want me to find you not only prefixes for five cats, but kittypet and loner names. And, judging by your phrasing of "kit name", you may have expected me to also provide suffixes.

I'm sure you didn't mean it to come out as it did, and honestly, this is built up from a week of suffering this stuff, but my God. No. Absolutely not. This is where I put my foot down.

HEAR YE, HEAR YE- From now on, I will only be helping with prefixes if you've done at least some work yourself, found a number of prefixes you like, and want me to judge if they're good for the cat. I will no longer be providing a list of prefixes for you to pick and choose. Do not ask me again.

And, as for you, H O L L Y L E A F, I apologize, but you're going to have to be disappointed tonight. I'm through with this nonsense.

Oh my, I will definitely take you up on that advice. It'll be loads of fun to develop Starlingface's character more; I definitely want to see her overcome her pride and become a good member of the Clan.

I need help on naming this guy. He's an apprentice for now, and for a suffix I was thinking perhaps Blizzard- would work? And as for his suffix, I believe he would be named for his battle expertise, so -claw will stay, I think.

The blurriness makes it hard to really see... I think that's a dilute tortie? But it could also be a light grey tabby, so...

If he's a light grey tabby, then Blizzard- works just fine. If he's a dilute tortie, on the other hand, you know the rules on that.

Thanks so much, Arcaii! He was meant to be a light gray tabby, but after some inspection I noticed that the cat is indeed a dilute tortie. Off to find a another picture! Thank you for reminding me. Also, sorry to bother you with yet another review request, but I want to make sure this cat is good enough to use in a roleplay/fic.

        Image/Description: woohoo.
        Name: Lilynose.
        Gender: Female.
        Clan: FanClan
        Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills: Lilynose, despite being completely deaf due to the combination of her fur and eye color, has never allowed her disability to hinder her in any way. She is fiercely independent and prideful, refusing to ever admit her wrongdoings or accept help, for she fears that her Clanmates may perceive this as a weakness. Lilynose has an insatiable thirst for knowledge (which also makes her nosy) and is always asking questions - how do birds fly? How exactly does it rain? She is a social butterfly who loves to be surrounded by others, and hates being by herself. She is also strong willed and (consequently) stubborn. Lilynose is also highly observant, picking up on little details that others might have missed. When she was a kit, Plumclaw (her mother), worked with Lilynose to develop a system of sign language to communicate with the Clan. I'm still working to develop more points on her (both positive and negative), but these are what I have for now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Important Notes: When she was an apprentice, she proved to be extremely talented in tracking, often tracing scents that others cannot. So when she became a warrior, she was given the suffix "nose" to commemorate her skills.

edit; Sorry to bother again, but I wanted to know your opinion regarding the suffix for this cat. I was thinking Sparrow, Dusk, Swift, or Lamprey, though I'm somewhat iffy on a final choice for him.

Name? Russetface.
Gender? Tom.
Clan? Cloudclan.
Rank? Warrior.
Personality/Skills? Ah... This really needs work, but here it is so far-
Russetface, named for his attractive chestnut-colored coat, is a warrior of average skill. His only saving graces are his wit and cheerful attitude, and the clan would have much more food if he could hunt as well as he talked. He's always talking to the female warriors, trying to charm them with his bright green eyes. He knows he is a young, energetic tom and uses that as a serious advantage.
When he isn't flirting, he's usually trying to help and failing miserably. He just doesn't listen. He's too fast and loud for the elders, who detest him for a number of reasons, such as him stepping on their tails or not doing as he was asked. He also doesn't visit the nursery too often, for he aggravates the mothers more than the kits. He's best in the woods, or talking to clanmates his age.

Name: Spotted???
Gender: Female
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills: Well, for Spotted???;She is a quiet, shy, and mellow cat. She likes to keep things to herself, and remains content almost every day. She hates water, one thing she despies to do. Witch makes her hunting skills for fishing drop. Alot;yet, her one skill is, however, she's good with catching prey on land. Almost never misses. Her swiftness is pretty good, but she has a problem with her leg, still not discovered what;so she doesn't hunt as much as she ust to before. She suprisingly isan't that old, and her firneds have been spreading rumors that she will be an elder. Witch can hurt her feelings. She can easily get hurt by words. Spotted??? stays alone. She doesn't like talking much now, and that's all.
Important Notes: All said above.

Happy to help, you know that!

Name Rating: 10/10
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Her name fits her perfectly! There isn't much else to say here.
Alternative Name: None!

Character Rating: 10/10
Character Reasoning: There seems to be a pattern of deaf cats being skilled trackers lately. Have you noticed that?
Anyways, everything checks out for her. She's a very solid cat, and I like that her not wanting help has created a very stubborn streak in her. You've done good!

I suggest Sparrow- for the second cat. He's little, too, going by the picture, so it's a great prefix for him.

Name Reasoning: His name fits him just fine. I should note here that the majority of pictures I saw were an odd dark brown, but there were a few darker gingers, so I assumed that's what you meant.
Alternative Name: None!

Character Rating: 10/10
Character Reasoning: What you have so far seems just fine. If you need some ideas, I suggest exploring how he interacts with things that aren't Clanmates - spiders' webs, the weather, if he's insanely curious about Twolegs or if their dogs terrify him to the bone, etc.
