Soul groaned as her sister took off after the stallion, but couldn't help but grin. As she returned she sighed "Karma, go with him, I don't want to, I'm happy on my own, plus, I'd rather our foals didn't have the same father" she smirked softly and nibbled the mares muzzle. As she snapped and said no, she sighed and kept trotting.

Karma watched with a frown, but didn't turn to follow, if he wanted her, he'd have to take on the hard mission of trying to get her. She could see the interest in his eyes, and honestly, despite Karma's love for her sister, she didn't mind joining a herd, but if he couldn't come after her and snake her from her sister, she didn't see the point in joining him. So she sighed deeply taking a mouthful of grass before slowly walking beside her sister stepping into a trot.

"Your name puts me off," said Vogue quickly, slightly regretting saying that. If the stallion wanted to know what was putting her off him it was defiantly his name. Her mother had told her all about the Taraxippi ghosts and how they scared and picked on horses. The older mare stopped moving away from him and faced him again, she tossed her stiff classic fjord mane and then pawed the ground arching her neck. "Sorry that was ever so rude of me," she apologized in a formal manner. Even though her breed originated in the mountains she had a quite formal way of speaking compared to other horses.

Hearing the mares slight discussion Paco decided to follow them into the forest but without them knowing. He wasn't the most stealthy of horses but he could stalk horses if he really tried and chose to. Watching them trot into the forest, Paco began his silent but fast descend down the hill and onto the trail they had started on. So who should I snake? The feisty mare seems eager in a strange way, I think i'll try snake her first he thought to himself devising a plan on how to handle the situation. He didn't want to separate the younger mare from her older more docile sister so he decided to try the friendly approach. Paco trotted slowly through the forest keeping a hazel eye on the pair, his strides were long and graceful and they barely made a noise when his hooves hit the soft earth. Swishing his tail he took a detour and trotted alongside them, but he was hidden by thick oak trees and shrubs.

Rose // Mare // eleven and a half years old // Arabian // 15 hands // Heat stage 3 // lucky's // tags; herd

Rose Pulled her ears up and threw her head up as high as it could go. The mare's adrenaline hit her as the cat flew out and went for Lucky, it's eyes seemed to dart to her, but then back to lucky as he took off with it. As the animal came back at her and managed to get her hip before Lucky cut it off, the mare turned and bucked before galloping off. The snorted and made her way closer to the river, even a lion hungry for a meal wouldn't swim, not worth it for an animal he'd have trouble taking down. As she looked back she watched as lucky turned and took the cat on. She snorted and watched the cat attack, Lucky's bravery made it only that much easier for the cat. However, within time, the cat ran off, submission in his eyes. The mare made her way out of the water blood trailing down her leg from the wound on her hip, she walked towards the stallion, adrenaline in her body preventing the pain for the moment. She made her way towards the stallion with her ears pinned back she stopped a few meters away to study his wounds before making his way towards him. Threatening to kick him before she simply pushed her nose into his flank and nibbled around his wounds, pulling the loose dirt from his body and gently pulling a tiny bit at the loose fur that no longer needed to be there seeing it would only get into his wounds. She kept her ears pinned back incase he threatened her to go away, she snorted and occasioanlly warned him with a herd nip where he wasn't wounded. She then continued to nibble at the dirt around his wounds until she'd managed to clean the area around two wounds before moving onto the next wound. She ignored hers for the moment, considering it was clean from the water that splashed onto it when she went into the water. She snorted softly and looked around, She'd help him with his wounds but should the feline come back, she wasn't going to stay. She sighed gently, deciding to stay and 'nurse' him to health. She would offically be in danger now to any stallion who came by. Lucky wouldn't be able to chase them off unless they were nearly half his age due to his wounds.

With a gentle sigh she nosed him contently and rested her muzzle against his side.

Pompeii // Mare // six years old // Arabian // 16 hands // Heat stage 2 // no herd // tags; open

The blue roan Rabicano mare walked contently along, each step lifting up water from the stream. A stallion was following her, she was not deep in heat and so deciding to walk in the stream would hide any trace of her, she occasionally stepped out and took several steps into the bush before stepping over a log and then dancing her way back to the stream, making it seem like she ran off that way. She would occasionally also step out and hit her lightly scented tail against a tree. The mare was young and free, she didn't want to be caught right now, especially by an ugly black quarter horse stallion. She'd met quarter horses before, they were so pretty, but this one... he was huge and ugly. She trotted along and soon came into the meadow, freedom! she galloped to a slow speed and then sped up as she came to a hill. She reached the top and looked at the hill which led to the large meadow which spread for miles. It was a long hill and you had to go down to get to the meadow. She groaned, it was steep and rocky and looked dangerous. She placed her hooves carefully. this was dangerous, but an arabian who was nearly always balanced, knew the meadow and hills and had gone down worse, she found it easier than running from a stallion. She trotted down it, not many would dare break a walk, she slipped once on a loose rock but didn't stop, instead when she was about a meter from the bottom she looked and decided simply to jump. So she jumped, on her way down she tripped into a small hole causing her shoulder to yank a few muscles, pulling several in her right shoulder. The mare cried slightly and then began a limp to the river. It came across as nothing when the mare realised she could canter. But little under 10 minutes later the mare found herself laying on her side in agony. Her muscles aching from where she'd pulled them. That's what you get for being cocky. The mare groaned and grunted but remained quiet, not wanting to be sighted just yet.

Soul snorted softly and looked up listening contently to her surroundings. The mare sighed, she knew the stallion was following, but it was clear Karma didn't. The mare seemed a little down. The mare made her way back into a steady movement beside her sister. soul had to be truthful, she felt sorry for her sister, Karma came across as a cruel hearted cow, but really, she just wanted a herd, she'd been around her sister for 8 years now, Soul got boring after a while. Tossing her head the mare shook out her mane and came to a stop and grazed contently.

Karma // Mare // eight years old // Warmblood //17.2 hands // Heat stage 3 // no herd // tags; Soul + Paco

Karma trotted along side her sister and came to a halt before she nickered softly to her sister nipping her flank gently before lowering her muzzle and grazing contently. She shook her mane and nickered sweetly to her beloved sister and lifted her muzzle and groomed her contently before grazing again silently.

The large dark male walked along contently, his ears pinned back as he called out curious for females. He shook out his mane and nickered gently before stamping his hooves and trotting off. He gave a small kick but who said a warmblood stallion couldn't have fun? so with a small kick came a big kick, bucking as he cantered along, ears pinned back as he bucked again, glorious freedom of spring. He was still thinnish from the winter but would fatten up in weeks and by then, hopefully a reasonably sized herd. With one last final call he patiently waited for a reply.

Paco emerged from the behind the trees and stood calmly away from Karma, the stallion nickered softly to Karma and then softer to Soul perking his ears forward in interest. "Sorry to bother you, but I wouldn't want to leave two mares alone in this forest, there are many aggressive stallions that linger here and I felt a sudden concern for your safety." he stated with a quick smile. It was true there were many aggressive stallions that linger and prey on unsuspecting mares. Moving closer to the mares Paco extended his muzzle out to Soul sniffing her but then retracted flicking a glance at her sister to see what she would do.

Starlit Dream

Mare//3 years old//Belongs to Death

(for recap of Death's herd read below)
Star stood beside Luna standing guard and neighed to Death telling him where they were. She nuzzled Luna trying to make her feel better before settling to grazing beside her.

Ocean Blue

Mare//2 & a half years old//Belongs to Lexo

Ocean followed Lexo and while he grazed Ocean nuzzled over his body checking if the wounds were still bleeding and laughed gently "You really need to be careful, I don't want to be on my own again with all those other crazy animals. Well on the bright side other mares will think you are very experienced stallion because of your scar" She nuzzled his neck before grazing for a while.

(To S a n d y

Star was cantering around saw a wolf far away and galloped back to Death's side and gently groomed his winter coat showing her respect. She heard Luna neigh uncomfortably, went to her. Luna's foal is making her uncomfortable because she keeps feeling some kind of kicking feeling. Star went to her and neighed to Death telling him they were around the pond. Luna lay down and Star was standing guard. Thats pretty much it.
And how was the show?)

Soul looked up as Paco came over and nickered gently to Karma, and softer to her. Soul snorted and pinned her ears, she gave a threatening squeal and turned kicking out, accidentally getting her sisters hip, Soul wanted no part of the young male and therefore wanted to leave. though she accidentally kicked her sister, if that's what it took then so be it. She didn't want any part in a young male.

Karma gave a soft cry as her sister kicked her hip, causing the mare's leg to buckle. She went down onto her rump and dropped on her side before snorting and attempting to stand back up, it took a moment but the large warmblood got to her feet. She pinned her ears and watched her sister as she took off. She pulled her ears forwards and glared at the stallion before limping after her sister, it wasn't worth it, and she was to easily forgiving, and forgave her sister every single time her sister stuffed up or injured her. And within a second of being kicked, she'd forgiven her sister. Perhaps that was Karma's only weakness, her sister was what held Karma back, Soul made Karma weaker or everything Soul did to her, Karma forgave and forgot.

thanks but lunar wouldn't be feeling anything... she was covered like a day ago, (rp time) she won't feel anything for about 4-5 months, she won't know she's unless she doesn't come back into season in a few weeks, not real time obiously and okay, my horse was a cow to start with but she got better)

Death's ears pinned back lightly and he snorted as he spotted the wolf, though he wasn't worried at all because it was a single wolf and didn't have a pack's scent, it was weak and hungry which meant it wouldn't bother with a horse. It was carrying a rabbit in it's mouth, but it would likely die within a few days or so. He flicked his ears to lunar but ignored what the two were doing. There was a chance the mares were not going to be pregnant which meant they would come back into season and he'd cover them again. He was going to wait a bit longer seeing as both mares were still in season so he would cover them again in a few hours or tomorrow, it was getting dark and cold. He wasn't sure if the two mares had established who was lead, but with a grunt he looked to star, letting the mare get some sleep.
