A cape-tailed dragon is a peaceful, mountain-dwelling fluffy breed of dragon, named for their long flat tails that quite resemble capes.

Haha, I'm pretty sure I accidentally didn't make a dragon last month in anticipation for these new lines, whoops...
Anyways, this dragon was more of a fun thing to fiddle with since my pen pressure isn't working as of right now.
The white and yellow markings are natural face paints that the dragon applies with a clan member's assistance, based off of a combination of different African celebration paints, although some are more predominately identifiable than others.

Greetings, I'm Aureus, a female Cape Tailed Dragon. Allow me to tell you a story...

'Aureus lay in the grass, letting the sun warm her back. She watched the ants as they scampered around her paws.
"Aureus!" A familiar voice called. She pretended not to hear. "Aureus, don't ignore me!" She rolled onto her back and looked up at the blue dragon.
"What?" She yawned. Her girlfriend wrinkled up her nose.
"Your breath stinks," she remarked, "but that's not what I came to tell you."
"Then what is?"
"I found something I wanted to show you." She said, excitement sparked in her eyes.
"What is it?" Aureus asked, her interest tweaked. Curiosity was her besetting sin.
"Come on! Follow me and I'll show you!" Mina rushed off without Aureus agreeing. Aureus got to her feet slowly, arching her back before following Mina.
Aureus found Mina waiting at the hilltop. She shot her an impatient look.
"Took you long enough." She said. "Come on, we're not half there yet!" Aureus sighed and looked at her friend in exasperation.
"How long is this going to take?" She asked bluntly. Mina rolled her eyes.
"It won't take that long. You've barely walked a few meters!"
"A few meters too much for me." She muttered under her breath. Mina ignored her and raced down the hill.
"DESDEMINA!" Aureus shouted after her. She continued to run as if she hadn't heard. Aureus raced after her friend grudgingly, following the blue speck in the distance.

"And why did you run off on me?" Aureus said, out of breath as she arrived, flopping onto the ground. "
You wouldn't have come otherwise." Aureus opened her mouth to argue. "Well, okay, you would have. But it would have taken a great deal longer. You should be thanking me!" Aureus said something under her breath about this.
"What did you want to show me?" Aureus said finally.
"Look!" Mina said, padding into a cave. Aureus sighed, then got up and followed her.
"Woah." Aureus breathed. Mina nodded.
"Woah's right." All of the caves wall were covered in incandescent crystal. A waterfall flowed slowly into a lake, sending waves of color across the floor and walls.
"Aren't you glad you followed me now?"
"Shut up, Mina."
"Does that mean yes?"
"It's the closest your gonna get."'

I would like Aureus because she's absolutely georgeous, and I'd love to have a CTD of my own.

Why you want this CTD: I'd love to own this beauty because she's absolutely gorgeous and as you can tell by her name, I love all things Native American. Her patterning is perfect and her colors go so good together.
Art and/or related story: Bear was born into a large family they called a tribe. The tribe was named Grizzly Tribe, for they lived in a forest that was once ruled by bears. She was the smallest of her brethren, but grew to be one of the best fighters in the Tribe. She was named Sleeping Bear because she had the strength and intelligence of the largest bear and she loved to sleep as much as a hibernating grizzly. She was honored the highest ranking status next to the chief, lead warrior and chief protector. Bear is greatly respected by all and is welcomed in almost any territory owned by the mighty Grizzly Bear. It's rumored throughout the Tribe that Sleeping Bear will be the next one to hold the title of Chief of Grizzly Tribe.
