Sighs a bit, thinking. "I care about your happiness of course. No matter the affect on me, it's best that you remain happy. As they say, if you love something, let it go. Not to imply such strong feelings..." He quickly adds, not sure if he felt that way yet. Sure she was pretty, talented and fun, but liking someone wasn't love.

"I suppose that could be true, certain qualities develop over time from being deputy. But, I've never become a leader, so I wouldn't know the feeling as you do." He would never get used to just how young the leader actually was, he made himself out to be older.

Tilts his head a bit, not sure what else to say. Caring about someone was hard, it hard to admit and stick to. He didn't want to break hearts or cause grief if it was avoidable, but it seemed like always he just couldn't say the right things.
