She blinked and stood up, "it's okay. I'm not trying to push you away or anything…" She glanced down at her basket, "are you hungry or thirsty?" She asked quietly.

"No..." Matt sounded quite distant as he stared towards the trees

"Oh… okay." She smiled faintly.

Matt sat there for a few minutes before finally speaking again "Don't you think I'm a freak? why aren't you leaving yet?" he asked quietly

"Hm?" She looked at him and blinked, "I don't think you're a freak. And I' not leaving because I have the right to be here. This garden is as mine as much as it is yours."
